Reviews
The tour was excellent! Maxinne was really good at what she was doing. The itinerary was hassle-free. She was able to handle 16 people very well. She had a tablet with her, which she used to show us different photos and videos. She showed us excellent recommendations. Our departure was 1 hour earlier which was very good! We were able to explore Salzburg on our own with an extra hour! It is recommended for solo travelers like me! I was able to visit Austria!
Our guide Maxine was very helpful and provided lots of useful insights about the place. Itinerary was good and we had enough time on our own. Great to experience riding train and bus with Maxine's assistance. (no private transportation). Highly recommended.
The train ride to Salzburg is around 2 hours. Our guide Jeremy is knowledgeable. He shared with us tips on the locations of restaurants with good food and the authentic shop to buy Mozart chocolate. We went on Sunday and most shops are closed, but there are many Christmas market stalls for us to visit. We also visited Mozart birthplace and places which he frequently went.
We arrive 15 mins ahead of the scheduled time. We have the same tour guide from our Neuschwanstein Castle Elizabeth. We are truly glad since she is lovely, accommodating, and explains our itinerary well. Salzburg is really beautiful and its not enough for only a day to tour around hence perhaps we should stay here 2-3 days next time. The downside of this trip was when were going back to Munich, we were stranded on the train for 2hrs due to unforseen crises and we need to transfer to another train going back. Thankfully, our tour guide Elizabeth is very patient and did not leave us behind and were able to go back to Munich together.
A Magical Day in Salzburg Our Salzburg day trip from Munich with Radius Tour and Bike Rentals was an absolute delight! From the moment we met our knowledgeable guide, Cristian, we knew we were in for a treat. His passion for the city and its history was infectious, and he made every stop fascinating and engaging. The train ride to Salzburg was scenic and comfortable, and upon arrival, we were greeted by the charming and historic Old Town. Cristian took us on a leisurely walking tour, highlighting the city's most iconic landmarks, including Mozart's birthplace, Mirabell Palace, and the Salzburg Cathedral. We even had the opportunity to visit the picturesque Mirabell Gardens, where the famous "Do-Re-Mi" scene from "The Sound of Music" was filmed. After the guided tour, we had some free time to explore on our own. We decided to visit the cemetery but ended up eating some nice schnitzel in a cafe and rest a bit, roam around the marketplace and it as a great way to get some exercise and soak up the atmosphere. Overall, our Salzburg day trip with Radius Tour and Bike Rentals was a fantastic experience. Cristian was an excellent guide, and the tour was well-organized and enjoyable. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Munich.
The meeting place was easy to find. Our guide, Maxine, was extremely attentive. After the guided tour, we had free time to eat at our favorite restaurants. Some people ate at restaurants recommended by Maxine. The time was well-timed, and we were able to leave the purchase of train and bus tickets to her, which made for an efficient trip.
Christian took care of us well. Giving us recommendations on which places are best to visit and take photo, restaurants that we can dine it. He also gave us 3 hours to explore on our own. Thank you
Salzburg is amazing, we took ~2 hours train there, our tour guide Susanne is sweet and provided many information and history of the places to us throughout the trip! highly recommended
it was great experience ms. Emanuel was very helpful.
Susan was a great guide and our family enjoyed the time totally. we were given a guided tour for 1.5 hours and free and easy for 2.5 hours. 2.5 hours was short and could only do lunch and one museum. should have a longer duration for free and easy.
