Private half-day tour to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)

Tawfik and Ahmed have such a great hospitality and the pick up and drop off are smooth. Tawfik has a deep knowledge of the Museum and their history also the roots of all the artifacts. We do enjoy the Museum so much and enjoy the company of Tawfik and Ahmed too. Much appreciated and highly recommended!! furthermore, we are grateful that we have our own time to spend and explore the exhibits. Also recommend to get an entrance ticket before going to the museum, the line is massive.

The team of Mustaffa (driver) and Tawfik (Egyptologist) did an expert job of safely delivering a comprehensive examination. of the GEM. Tawfik has a masterful approach to summarize this largest museum on earth. I know there are less expensive ways to visit GEM but if you want to actually know what you are looking at and learn something this is a good approach.

I booked grand museum but they closed it for grand opening, so I asked the local operator to take me to the museum of civilization. Had a great time, saw a lot of mummies, the guide Ezzaldin rashdan was knowledgeable the car driver ayman was on time and both were helpful, and the local operator is extremely good, the lunch was also tasty. highly appreciated.

Ahmed Essam was very kind and explained the history of Egypt in a way that was easy to understand. I don't know much about Egypt, but he patiently taught me many interesting facts. In the Tutankhamun room, he told cinematic stories, explained various other cultures, and even recommended food. This tour was one of the main highlights, and I'm extremely satisfied. He's also excellent at taking photos.

We recently visited the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), and it was an absolutely breathtaking experience. Our guide, Ezzaldin Rashdan, was exceptional; he kicked off our tour by showing us the Hanging Obelisk, followed by a profound explanation of the colossal statue of Ramesses II. We also explored the masterpieces from the Greco-Roman period. ​One of the most striking highlights was his detailed explanation of the kneeling statue of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most significant pieces in the museum. ​The GEM is truly a masterpiece of architecture and history. I highly recommend Ezzaldin Rashdan as your go-to guide if you want to truly unlock the secrets of the museum. This place is beyond imagination—a magnificent tribute to the glory of Ancient Egypt. It is a world-class destination that focuses solely on the greatness of one civilization: the Ancient Egyptian civilization. I urge everyone to visit and witness this grandeur for themselves

The museum tour program stated that private car + tour guide, no entrance fee and lunch. The words were not clear. It should have been stated that the entrance ticket was not included because when we arrived, we could not issue a ticket. We had to buy a new entrance ticket again. The guide did not explain the details of the museum. Perhaps because it had just opened, the guide was not very knowledgeable.

Ahmed Essam is a great tour guide with clear and interesting explanations to the history of Egypt. we have some great time in the GEM.

After much deliberation, I decided I probably needed a tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum, so I booked one. The tour guide, Shady Hamdy, told jokes and made the tour fun. The price was also relatively inexpensive compared to other places, which was even better!

very good tour. informative. such a nice big museum. our tour guide shady is very knowledgeable and accomodating. we got tired at the middle of the tour because there’s a lot to see. we recommend that everyone get this tour.
