Miyako Island Sea Turtle Snorkeling & Beach SUP or Canoe 1-Day/Half-Day Experience (Okinawa)

It was a very fun and exciting experience. Iigoさん can speak good English and even new swimmers can be follow him in the snorkeling tour easily with the safety cord. He also took great pics. Carlosさん showed us in the SUP tour. He’s very nice and friendly, giving clear instructions and helping us taking lots of photos voluntarily. In a word I highly recommend this tour!

Big thanks to the snorkeling guide iigo from Tokyo! Escaping the hustles and butlers of city life, and seeking the pure beauty of Miyako Blue. I think this is a great decision, after all, physical and mental health are the first priority.

This experience truly exceeded my expectations! I don't have much experience with water activities, but I was able to participate safely and enjoyably. I especially recommend experiencing both snorkeling and SUP (stand-up paddleboarding). You can enjoy the beauty of the sea from different perspectives. The transparency of the sea is like glass, and I was truly impressed to see so many creatures such as coral and fish. SUP was also very fun, and the time spent paddling while enjoying the scenery was the best. The staff took pictures for us, which allowed us to create wonderful memories. However, since there are other customers besides just one group, you may have to wait a bit when taking photos. I was lucky enough to see a sea turtle this time! However, encountering any creature is a matter of luck. If the weather is good, the beauty of this sea alone is worth it. I especially want to thank Kazu, who always greeted us with a smile. We are not Japanese, but his English was very good, and we were able to enjoy interacting with him. He is a wonderful leader who pays attention to each person and ensures that they can participate with peace of mind. Overall, you will definitely not regret this experience! If you are blessed with good weather and can encounter a sea turtle, it will be an unforgettable memory.

I recently participated in the half-day SUP and snorkeling activity and was very satisfied with the arrangements. First, the beach SUP. The instructor, Kyoka San, provided very professional guidance. She explained the key points and precautions on the shore before we went into the water. I had no prior SUP experience and had terrible balance, so I lacked confidence. Kyoka San was very patient in teaching and encouraging me. Within an hour, I progressed from not being able to balance at all and falling into the sea, to being able to stand stably on the board and paddle, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Kyoka San speaks fluent English, and we communicated very smoothly. She helped me take many beautiful photos and short Go Pro videos, for which I am very grateful. Looking back now, I still savor the experience! After that was the snorkeling activity. The instructor, Leon San, was very enthusiastic, and his fluent English instructions were very clear. We quickly saw sea turtles as soon as we got into the water, and he also took pictures throughout. There were corals and tropical fish of all kinds. Leon San also paid great attention to safety. He kept an eye on everyone's swimming pace, so everyone could easily keep up, and the safety float was also large, so you could lean on it at any time if you felt tired. Leon San also took many beautiful photos for everyone in the water, which was very enjoyable. In conclusion, this activity experience will make you want to book a plane ticket back to Miyako Island immediately. Both instructors were very friendly, and I am grateful to them for accompanying me on a wonderful half-day journey of sunshine and the sea.

The guide, Nori, was incredibly kind. Originally, the meeting point was set at a location far from my hotel, but Nori agreed to pick me up there and also dropped me off at the hotel after the trip. The overall experience was fantastic. Nori repeatedly emphasized safety throughout the tour, took many great photos for us, and we even got to see sea turtles!

I really enjoyed SUP and snorkeling with Miyu and Yuri. I received an email communication a day before explaining meeting time and location (with Google Map link) and all the questions were promptly answered. 10/10 for both SUP and snorkeling. I had no problem communicating with both guides in English. Thanks Miyu and Yuri for amazing experience!

This tour was perfect! When we reached Turtle Point, we saw thousands of beautiful fish and cute turtles. The paddleboarding was also fun and easy to learn. Our guide, Ena, was friendly and an excellent photographer. I’ll definitely book this again if I have the chance to visit Miyakojima!

We recently participated in the half-day sea turtle snorkeling and SUP activity booked through Klook, and the overall experience was truly fantastic! Our guide, Jam, was incredibly patient and friendly. From the initial briefing to the activity itself, he took great care of everyone, making us feel very comfortable. Especially when we were out on the water, Jam constantly monitored our well-being and prioritized safety, which allowed even first-timers to participate with confidence. Although it was a bit windy and the sea conditions were slightly challenging that day, the entire trip was still a lot of fun, and both SUP and snorkeling were very enjoyable. The best part was that we actually saw sea turtles in the end! Being able to see sea turtles up close in such beautiful waters was truly moving and became one of the most unforgettable memories of this trip. I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Miyakojima, and I'm very grateful to Jam for his care throughout, which helped us create such wonderful memories!
