Wonderful guided visit of the Torrons Vicens museum. The tour is both very informative and entertaining. The tasting was obviously the best part for all chocolate lovers. Highly recommended activity in central Barcelona!

We enjoyed the detailed Nougart sweet tour museum that went through the history of how Nougard was made. They had visual videos and old equipment and a cute area where after the tour, you can sit down and have samples of the nougat on a tasting plate. It's run by one of the most popular Nougat shops in Barcelona so don't purchase anything in the shop yet until you see the museum as you also get a store discount if you make a purchase afterwards in the store. Be mindful that it is underground in the store so quite a number of stairs but if you have a pram you can ask them for the tiny lift which is where they bring up their goods for the store. Also make sure you get there on time as the tour starts right away.

I couldn't find this location using the Japanese version of Google Maps. When I asked at the reception desk, they told me it wasn't the correct place. I confirmed multiple times and tried different search methods, but it kept pointing to the same location. I definitely want to visit next time.

The tour begins with the explanations of our guide and some audiovisuals to discover the beginnings of Vicens. We will continue telling you the origins of Agramunt nougat and the history of Jolonch stone chocolate through different salts where you will enjoy a unique immersive experience.

We will finish the visit with a tasting of different Vicens nougats, from the most classic to the latest novelties, plus a glass of chocolate or orxata hoping to surprise your palate with incredible flavors and textures.
