Zhujiajiao Water Town Half-Day Tour from Shanghai

What a great day spent in Zhujiaojiao with Tour Guide Yang! The area had beautiful architecture, interesting spots and nice shops going from historical, artsy, for the foodie, and for animal cutees. Yang spoke english very well (and german) and it was just super helpful because there were very limited english in all shops so we went through many areas quickly. He pointed out the "must picture" spots and pointed out the historical as well as culturally distinctive areas and items. This also saved me from trying out food that looked interesting but may give me a lot of regret. It was my first day in China and he also helped set up my payment system so i can use in small shops. Being a private tour, we were not at all in a hurry and made for a very relaxing, souvenir shopping success day!

This tour was a highlight of our trip to Shanghai! Our tour guide Wei arrived promptly at our hotel and had a comfortable vehicle to transfer to Zhujiajiao, a 1 hour drive from the city. Wei was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to show us all of the best sights and areas to take photos. It was raining that day which made the photos look really pretty and meant it wasn't too crowded. During the day we tried lots of different foods and drinks, including a AI coffee shop which could print any picture onto a cup of coffee!! Wei was such a great tour guide, he was really friendly and seemed to know everyone in the town, nothing was too much trouble and I had a great time!! I honestly cannot recommend it enough! Thank you so much Wei! :-)

Wei was such an amazing tour guide. he was so knowledgeable about Shanghai as a local and told the group some great information about local stops and recommend places to eat or what to try. He even made sure that we didn’t buy something that was too overpriced. Everything from the ride there to the itinerary was very good!

amazing trip with helpful driver / guide to bring us around. 2 adults 2 seniors 2 toddlers. Lilian is patient and ensure we are all travelling safe with the steps and stairs at the scenic places. thank you for the great hospitality!

10/10 for this experience. Our Guide/Driver Mr. Wei was the best, he made sure that we get the best prices for the things we buy, and even treated us with some Chagee milktea. He went above and beyond, really exceeded our expectation. The car was also really comfortable, seats even had massage so we get to relax on our way back to the City. you will not regret getting this tour.

Booked a morning session 9-1230 pm. the driver picked us up at the hotel lobby at People’s Square took about 1 hr to reach there. Inside Zhujiajiao Ancient Town you can go to the garden / ride boat along the ancient canals / visit temple / shopping street around 3 hours to finish. After that the driver dropped us at the chosen restaurant.

As it was during he golden week in China, there were just too many people in ZhuJiaJiao that the boat cruises had to cancel. Overall experience was great and your guide very helpful and nice!

Comfortable transport with good guide - Zhang Sifu (Female). She took good care of senior and arranged lunch for us. We have enjoyed alot!

this tour was so fun! our tour guide Wei was so nice and he’s a good driver too! the car ride was very comfortable.

Driver was polite and punctual when meeting us at the hotel for our private transfer. Car was very comfortable for the 4 of us. Driver went the extra mile in bringing us around the ancient town. Did have a little concern when driver checked his messages while driving us back to the city even though it was at a slow speed.
