great experience. remember no pictures or video allowed during the show…!! please respect. HOWEVER they do understand us as we need some memories.. so at the end of the show they will dance again for us to take as many pictures and videos. 😁

Would call this a great spiritual experience, even if you don't share the same faith. More of a prayer than a performance, although they do let you take photos/videos at the very end. The music was so relaxing I honestly ended up napping for a few minutes.

Witness whirling dervishes in a 13th-century caravanserai. If you're in Cappadocia, we recommend catching a whirling dervish performance if you have the chance. We rented a car, so we were able to book a show in the afternoon and see it that evening, which was very convenient.

This is not a typical dance performance, but rather a traditional Sufi religious ceremony, symbolizing the pursuit of spiritual enlightenment and connection with God. It's best to understand its historical background or listen to a guided tour before watching to better comprehend why the whirling takes place. Photography and videography are not permitted during the performance, but there will be a short special session afterward where you can take photos or videos.

This is a rich feast for the soul. At the beginning of the performance, a brochure was given to introduce the ritual, which is not a dance performance, but a spiritual religious ceremony, allowing viewers to treat it with a more solemn and respectful attitude. Even my 11-year-old son felt the solemn and sacred atmosphere. It was an unforgettable experience and a spiritual journey. Photography is prohibited throughout the ritual, but there will be a short performance time for photography after it ends. The drivers who provided transportation to and from the hotel were also punctual, and the process was smooth.

This tour was delivered as promised. The driver was punctual, the vehicle was very nice, the communication with the tour operator was excellent. The derwish ceremony took place in Saruhan caravanserai, and felt special and intimate. I truly enjoyed the activity and highly recommend it.
