Teotihuacan Pyramids Morning Half-Day Tour from Mexico City

I also went on a tour of Teotihuacan in Mexico! This tour was a huge success, thanks to our guide, Ara. The magnificent pyramids were impressive, but what made the tour truly enjoyable for both my eyes and ears was how beautiful and kind Ara was. 🥰 Her explanations of the ancient civilization were incredibly clear and engaging, but what touched me most was her photography skills! She expertly found the best spots where the pyramids were perfectly framed and took amazing, once-in-a-lifetime photos for us. After the tour, I was genuinely moved to find that Ara had even thoughtfully created beautiful commemorative photos (life-shot photos) for us. For anyone planning to visit Teotihuacan, I wholeheartedly recommend Ara as your guide!

Got there just as they opened up so we got to take photos of Teotihuacan without any people. Our Guide Ara was very knowledgable and guided the tour very well. Group size was around 10 people total. Pick up was very smooth and she gave great suggestions as to where we could go afterwards. The tour itself was well paced and very interesting. She was very engaging and knows her history!

The early start time for this tour allows you to get to Teotihuacan at opening time so you can get photos before the crowds arrive. We were concerned other tours were too short and this tour was going to be too long but it was just the right length to cover a good amount of information and walking through the site at a sensible pace / route. Our guide Beatriz was excellent giving just the right information, and giving detailed, knowledgeable answers to any questions asked.

I had an amazing experience visiting the Teotihuacan temples thanks to our guide Mich! 🌞 She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole tour so enjoyable from start to finish. One of the highlights was that she even printed a photo for us on the spot to capture the moment — such a thoughtful touch! 📸 If you’re planning a visit, I’d definitely recommend going with Mich. It really made the experience unforgettable 🙌

We had a great experience! María and Aarón were our tour guides, they did a great job with the tour around the site and contextualizing the buildings and iconography. The pickup in Mexico City went smoothly and the early start was very appreciated and we got to experience the site when it was relatively empty. As advertised, this tour does not have any commercial stops, which was part of why we picked it. 5 stars and I would recommend them to others!

My tour guide Richard was really great, he was knowledgeable, friendly and helped taking lots of beautiful pictures for us. The arrangement of the trip and the communication were fabulous. I got contacted directly from the travel company and Ric immediately after I booked the tour online, telling me details and kept updated for the morning pick up, which helped me get well prepared for the trip. We arrived at 8am to avoid for the crowd and spent around 2.5 hours Teotihuacán which was quite enough to see everything, no rush at all. Water and Mexican snacks were provided. Thank you Ric and the driver again for this amazing experience in Mexico. Highly recommended~

María is an excellent tour guide. She explained the history of the Teotihuacan pyramids in great detail, telling stories that were vivid and engaging, which gave us a deeper understanding of this ancient civilization. She was also very thoughtful, giving us ample time to explore the site, and even helped me take many wonderful photos along the way. This was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit.

I had a day and a half free during my business trip to Mexico, so I signed up for this. It was conducted in English, so I couldn't understand everything, but it was a lot of fun. I had an unforgettable time with the foreign friends I met there.

The tour was the best way to start my trip in Mexico. It was concise and informative. Our guide, Raul is very knowledgeable and he gave us ample time to take pictures and patiently answered our questions about the place.

What an awesome tour! We got picked up early, 6:10 am at our hotel, but the tour guide - Mich, confirmed the night before and she and Fernando our driver were right on time. We picked up a couple more people and took of to the pyramids. Mich was wonderful! Great explanations and super kind. she was very knowledgeable and answered all questions and was very attentive. I would certainly recommend this tour operator in Mexico City, they were fantastic! We got back to the city a bit passed mid day, and it was worth every penny! 100% satisfied and would recommend to everyone.
