Reviews
This was a trip which I had not planned, however it turned out to be one of the best short trips I’ve had in Dublin. Mr Harry will welcome you to his boat and captain you around the harbour and Ireland’s Eye. He will help you keep a lookout on the wildlife around the harbour. The ones we spotted were common seals, grey seals and some seagulls. He was also happy to share the history of the island, giving us a short history lesson while we’re on board. His boat is a small one, and that’s a plus as this allows him to drive it a little closer to the rocky shores of Ireland’s Eye. Allowing us a closer glimpse of the rock formation and the animals there. This is quite a hidden gem and Mr Harry was insightful and also kind to the child that was in the tour. Definitely a must try when you visit Howth’s Harbour.
Eye of Ireland, this time with two other people, a total of three of us took a boat to circle the island. Captain Henry and Kim are very friendly and will introduce the island's history and ecology.
