• Citizens of the Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as "ROC") who wish to apply for membership must be natural persons aged 18 or older and provide their ID card and driver's license for automobiles (including motorcycles) for supplier verification.
• Foreign nationals or non-residents of Taiwan who wish to apply for membership should provide a valid Taiwan Resident Certificate or passport, a valid international driver's license, and a valid credit card for supplier verification.

Precautions

• See the WeMo Scooter Terms of Service for details. The Terms of Service are updated from time to time, so please refer to the latest announcement. (1) You understand and agree that the ownership of the electric motorcycle and its accessories belongs to the company (depending on the actual situation of individual electric motorcycles and accessories, belonging to WeMo Technology Co., Ltd. and/or Weixiang Telematics Co., Ltd. individually or jointly). This Terms of Service only leases the electric motorcycle and accessories to members for use, and members do not obtain any other rights. Members are not agents of the company for any purpose, and any repairs or replacements of any parts or accessories of the electric motorcycle must be approved by the company in advance. (2) You understand and agree that the company is not responsible for any delays in your trip if you are unable to complete the mobile phone rental service in time due to the failure of the network system hardware and software equipment provided by telecommunications operators, credit card acquiring institutions, or members’ devices, or due to force majeure factors such as natural disasters, or under the circumstances where the company’s equipment is undergoing necessary maintenance and construction after proper prior notice. (3) You understand and agree that the company is not responsible for any damages to the member’s computer system if any data or images are retrieved from the company’s website or official APP without the company’s prior consent. (4) Before renting a car, please check whether the electric motorcycle can operate normally. If the motorcycle and accessories are found to be inconsistent with the agreed-upon usage status within 5 minutes after picking up the car, and the car is returned to the same location, the company will not charge for this ride after confirming that the vehicle cannot operate normally; If a malfunction occurs during the rental period, the member should immediately contact the company’s customer service personnel for assistance, and the member may request a reduction or exemption of rent, a replacement vehicle, or termination of the lease. If the items in the trunk are damaged due to vehicle abnormalities, the maximum compensation amount is limited to 500 riding credits; if items are left in the trunk due to vehicle abnormalities, the company will arrange for logistics delivery, which will arrive within 10 working days. (5) WeMo Fly provides lessees with the function of changing batteries themselves; the remaining battery level information can be viewed in the official APP; the power information is an estimate, and there will be individual errors depending on operating habits. The estimated mileage on the dashboard will be automatically updated according to current operating behavior. Rapidly increasing speed (high meter SEC power consumption value) easily consumes power (increased power consumption), which is a normal phenomenon. (This is the same as the general understanding of using fuel vehicles: fuel consumption increases at high speeds). (6) Accessories and equipment included with the vehicle include, but are not limited to, one WeMo Scooter standard 3/4 helmet and one 1/2 helmet, Ionex battery, mobile phone holder, and parking lot access card. (7) When using the company’s service to rent an electric motorcycle, the following battery storage rules should be followed:
• It is strictly forbidden to reverse or short-circuit the positive and negative terminals of the battery to avoid short circuits, electric shock, or battery damage.
• It is strictly forbidden to disassemble, modify, or use the battery pack for non-regular purposes.
• It is strictly forbidden to use any tools to damage the battery pack.
• It is strictly forbidden to let the battery get close to high temperatures, such as heat sources, fire sources, or direct sunlight, to avoid battery damage.
• It is strictly forbidden to insert slender objects or hit the battery pack with a hammer.
• Do not place items in the battery extraction compartment to avoid short circuits or poor contact, which may cause battery damage.
• It is strictly forbidden to heat, burn, or impact the battery pack.
• The batteries of electric motorcycles are dedicated battery packs. Do not use them for other equipment or interchange the batteries of different electric motorcycles.
• It is strictly forbidden to spray water on electrical parts and battery packs to avoid leakage and short-circuit hazards.
• It is strictly forbidden to let the battery get wet in the rain, soak in water, or drip with any organic solvents or chemical agents to avoid short circuits, electric shock, or battery damage.
• The Ionex batteries used by WeMo Fly electric motorcycles are provided by Guangjie Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guangjie Company"). If there are any abnormal conditions with the battery or charging station, please contact the company's customer service personnel or Guangjie Company's customer service hotline 0800-090-060.

(8) Users are reminded to pay attention to the following matters when storing Ionex batteries:

• Ionex batteries may be slightly hot after use, so please pay attention when changing or picking them up.
• Each Ionex battery weighs about 10 kg, so please handle and place them carefully with both hands.
• If there is any abnormality in the Ionex battery (such as leakage, damage, deformation, etc.), please stop using it immediately and contact the company's customer service personnel or Guangjie Company's customer service hotline 0800-090-060 for assistance.

(9) The mobile phone holder installed in the vehicle is set up for your convenience, and the mobile phone holder is not part of the WeMo Scooter service. You agree that the company does not need to be liable for any direct, indirect, derivative, or special damages (loss) caused by your use of the mobile phone holder. In addition, if the mobile phone holder is damaged due to improper use, the user should compensate the cost of the mobile phone holder. (10) If the parking lot access card is lost, a reissue fee of 300 yuan will be charged at the original price. (11) This service has operating range restrictions. It is a permitted use behavior for members to drive electric motorcycles outside the operating range, but if the electric motorcycle cannot be driven back to the operating range for parking and return on the day of rental due to power exhaustion or other accidents attributable to the member, the member should immediately notify the company’s customer service personnel, and the company will transport the electric motorcycle back to the operating range, and charge the member the rental fee and dispatch processing fee from the time of rental to the completion of the company’s dispatch. The latest announcements on the official website or official APP shall prevail for detailed operating ranges and dispatch fees. If the rented vehicle is driven to the point where it is completely out of power, resulting in the inability to operate the vehicle (opening the trunk, returning the car, etc.), the resulting time delay or additional handling fees shall be borne by the member. (12) During the rental period, the member should drive by themselves. Without the company’s prior consent and registration in this Terms of Service, it shall not be driven by others; in particular, it shall not be driven by others without a driver’s license, drunk/drugged driving (including refusal to test), overloading, or used for learning driving purposes. (13) When you use WeMo Scooter, you promise to abide by the relevant laws and regulations of the Republic of China for riding a motorcycle. If any violation of the Criminal Law, Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act, or Waste Disposal Act occurs (including but not limited to violations of the relevant laws and regulations of the Republic of China for riding a motorcycle), relevant evidence will be attached to directly report or cooperate with the competent authority’s investigation to provide relevant information. You promise not to use this service for any illegal purpose or in any illegal way, and guarantee not to use this service to infringe on the rights and interests of others or engage in illegal acts. Violators may have their membership suspended or terminated by the company, and the vehicle will be immediately recovered. If any other direct or indirect damage or expenses (including but not limited to dispatch processing fees, fines, operating losses caused by the revocation of the license plate, etc.) are caused, the company may claim compensation from you. (14) Dispatch processing fee refers to the fee assessed based on a comprehensive evaluation of factors such as distance, location, and difficulty when the vehicle is returned outside the scope designated by the company, or when the vehicle needs to be towed back by the company due to an accident attributable to the member (the fee ranges from NT$500 to NT$2,000). You agree that the determination and fees for this part shall be based on the company’s determination based on the specific circumstances of the case.

(15) Rent and return at any time in five cities; please refer to the official website https://www.wemoscooter.com/servicemap for the rental and return stations in the same station throughout Taiwan (16) Service fee refers to the processing fee incurred if the usage regulations of this Terms of Service are violated or staff need to be sent to assist with vehicle-related services. (The fee is priced from NT$300). (17) According to the self-government ordinance for the management of shared transportation operators by local governments, WeMo Scooters can only be parked in legal public open-air motorcycle parking spaces (excluding time-limited parking spaces, time-limited no-parking spaces, special parking spaces for the disabled, and other special parking spaces) and special off-street parking lots announced by the company when returned. For parking spaces not approved by the government, the member will be responsible for any fines, parking fees, and service fees. (18) When using the self-service station rental and return (round-the-island longitudinal line) electric motorcycle rental service, the rented electric motorcycle must be parked at the designated return location when returning the motorcycle. (19) All parking fees incurred during the rental period of self-service station rental and return (round-the-island longitudinal line) members shall be borne by the member. (20) Rental and return stations: Due to possible changes in individual conditions of cooperative parking lot operators, the actual cooperative rental and return stations are based on the icons (blue background with white P square) displayed in real-time on the APP. (21) The company’s official APP may display notifications reminding you that your location may be a “high-penalty area, time-limited parking space, time-limited no-parking space” or other special parking space, but you acknowledge that related notifications may be inaccurate due to hardware, network, software, communication, weather, technology, and other related issues and cannot be used as a basis for you to judge the parking location; you should still follow the “traffic-related markings or signs” around the parking space and park the rented electric motorcycle in accordance with this clause. (22) You promise to cooperate with the principle of fair use of rentals and not to occupy them continuously or for a long time in a speculative manner, causing inconvenience to other members’ use. If you have a situation where the electric motorcycle cannot be normally provided for others to rent, and it is confirmed by the company, the company may temporarily or permanently suspend your account and immediately recover the vehicle. (23) If the electric motorcycle cannot be normally provided for others to rent due to your negligence (including but not limited to forgetting to return the car, parking the electric motorcycle in a private place, etc.), you shall compensate the company’s operating rental loss proportionally. The operating rental loss is calculated based on the basic pricing method, based on the “Matters to be Recorded and Not Recorded in the Standardized Contract for Motorcycle Rental,” and the maximum daily limit is NT$4,320. The calculation basis is calculated from the time the rental service takes effect until the company retrieves the vehicle. (Crossing midnight is counted as the next day) (24) When you finish riding, you should put the accessories back in the trunk under the seat, and properly close the trunk cover, then turn off the motorcycle and return it. After the vehicle is actually turned off and the APP shows successful return, complete the payment and obtain the electronic invoice to ensure that the borrowing and returning procedures are completed correctly before leaving the vehicle.
