Muir Woods, Sonoma and Napa Wine Country Day Tour from San Francisco

my wife and I had a great experience with the tour! from the punctual pickup to a very hospitable & incredible host, Mitch to a fine experience with the wine tasting. it was an amazing day we had! Thank you!

Great trip. Guide is so friendly and helpful. The places visited also very beautiful and very nice. Really worth for the price.

It was a fun-filled tour. The tour group was very friendly and there was good flow of conversation. Kate was very helpful.

Pick up took quite awhile, waited about 30 minutes from email time of 8.30am. Muir woods was nice, admission not included in tour. Guide gave good recommendations of where to eat at Sonoma Plaza (lunch at own expenses). The first winery Roche didnt feel good, the tastings felt like minimal quantities and the server did not appear that knowledgable. The second winery Ru Vango was much nicer, wines were explained with some background on the vintage and origins as well as stories. Tastings were generous here.

I went on a tour with Jay, and although I couldn't understand it well because it was in English, he kindly guided me well! It was great to explore Muir Woods, Sonoma, and Napa, and it was nice to drink quite a bit of wine. We all took pictures together in Napa! Haha. I recommend the girls and the fit restaurant in Sonoma Village.

Although the tour with original operator did not manage to go ahead due to the low signup, they quickly arranged another tour with a separate operator with similar itinerary and no additional fee topups! The tour guide, Ben, was very knowledgeable and kept us engaged during the drive. Highly recommend!

Pick-up was on time and the guide was friendly and accommodating. We first went to Muir Woods and then to wine tasting. Smooth ride and we had a stopover at golden gate bridge.

Mitch was such a lovely guide, went as a solo traveler over the July 4th weekend whilst on work trip and really enjoyed myself! Highly recommend this tour, not a wine snob but I felt the 1st winery provided a nice environment, while the 2nd winery had better quality stuff.

Pickup was very punctual. Brad the Driver Guide was a great story teller of the history of San Francisco, Muir Woods and the Wine country. Very entertaining and relaxing tour. I would recommend Extranomical Tours to visitors to the Bay Area.
