Because it was off-season, we were upgraded to a small group to visit Plitvice Lakes. The tour guide Marko was very good, very interesting and humorous. On the way there, he talked to us a lot about the customs and culture of Croatia, and kept introducing the history of Croatia. He explained it professionally. He introduced the formation of the national park, recommended many authentic food restaurants to us, and helped us take many beautiful photos. Under his guidance, we had a wonderful day! I recommend everyone to take this trip! Full score: 100! Because it was the off-season, we were upgraded to a small group tour to Plitvice Lakes. Our guide, Marko, was excellent—he was very interesting, incredibly humorous, and engaging. On the way, he shared a lot about Croatia's local customs and traditions and provided a professional introduction to the country's history. He also gave a detailed explanation of how the national park was formed. Additionally, he recommended many authentic local restaurants and took lots of beautiful photos for us. Under his guidance, we had a fantastic day! I highly recommend this tour—100 out of 100!
Very well organized and informative tour of one of the most scenic spots of Croatia. Eva was an excellent guide and driver which is such an excellent and rare combination. The tour of the lake and the multiple water falls is really spectacular and awe inspiring. Though it was an ardous tour and required a lot of walking up and down the trails around the lake, thanks to Eva who spaced the entire trip in such an efficient manner that we could cover all the scenic spots and could collect a lot of memorable miments. All the while she kept us informed about details of the history and geography of the country, the lake, waterfalls and the National Park in a very lucid manner. She was very considerate towards all members of the group and ensured that no one was left behind during the entire 10 odd hours which included to and from travel in a van, treks through the various trails, short journey by a road train and a ferry ride on the lake. All in all in wonderful trip courtesy the very efficient and considerate Eva
One word "ASTOUNDING". Simply beautiful and definitely worth going. Guide-Sasha is very knowledgeable and interactive. UNESCO protected natural park with picturesque views. it's worth every penny paid. WOW WOW WOW!
This was my first ever activity in Croatia, and I hope the rest of activities could match the greatness of this one. Our guide, Marko, was a god send. he did such a great job explaining the history and culture of Croatia and the importance of Plitvice to the point I feel like I am now an expert (jk). but in all seriousness, I would definitely recommend this trip again and I hope I could come back during the two weeks when the lake becomes Turquoise. love from Saudi Arabia.
With very less reviews available on Klooks, I was bit nervous while booking but tour was amazing with "PathFinders". We did the tour on 6 Oct with guide Eva on a vannwith 8 people. End to end everything was so amazing. Eva is very knowledgeable guide, she can talk on anything history, geography, real estate, political situations, European union, agriculture, trade, whatever one wants to learn for Balkan region. I met another guide of the same company during the tour, his name is Sasa, he was also very nice. Everyday they have few vans and bus tour depending up on bookings. A must do tour in Croatia, there is no such place in the world.
One of the best experiences of my life - Plitvice National Park, situated in Croatia, is an absolute gem for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike. The highlight of the tour is undoubtedly the breathtaking scenery. The park is renowned for its cascading lakes, crystal-clear waters, and lush greenery. As you wander along the well-maintained wooden pathways and footbridges, you'll be treated to panoramic views of vibrant turquoise lakes and dramatic waterfalls. Our guide, Sasha, was knowledgeable and passionate about the park's natural history and conservation efforts. His insights into the park's unique ecosystems, geology, and wildlife added a deeper appreciation to the experience. His enthusiasm was contagious, making the tour both educational and engaging. Only thing to call out is that you really need to keep up your speed else you will be left behind your group. Since it was crowded when we visited, we had to wait for good shots and we were left behind in the first leg of our tour, however we caught up mid way. The park offers range of trails and we opted for C route. We did boat rides and took train as well. Had sufficient time for our lunch too. Overall it was a fantastic exprience!
I had a great time hiking through Plitvice! The hike is ~10km and quite doable. Sacha was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the lakes and knew the good photo spots!
It is an essential park, we took a tour in English and it turned out that our guide Stjepan Klaric spoke Spanish, so it was much better. Everything is beautiful, it is well worth going to see it.
Our guide Lucy was very informative and friendly. She introduced us to the different parts of the National Park and kept offering to help us take photos. It was a small group of 6 pax which was great. Enjoyed our day trip to Plitvice Lakes National Park with Pathfinders! Highly recommended!
Although it is impossible to visit all 16 lakes in a one-day tour, it is very suitable for people with limited time and those who cannot drive themselves. Elderly people or those with children should consider carefully when traveling around the lake in a limited time. The whole journey is about 6.5 kilometers up and down. The tour guide is great and accompanies almost the entire journey, explaining carefully and helping to take photos.
