Kiulu White Water Rafting with Optional Peri Firefly Tour in Sabah

i have the best time of my life. from rafting in white kiulu, best foods for lunch, after coffee and dinner, feeding monkeys at the mangrove overlooking mt.kinabalu, walking to the sandbar while watching sunset, up to the firefly and crocodiles boating at night. it's all worth it. thank you so much klook for making this itinerary and for kuya henry, best tourguide we highly recommend.

There was some misunderstanding at pickup so we missed the pickup van and needed to take grab to gather with the driver. Others is just great, Bob was so enthusiastic and active guide to guarantee us have a most unforgettable experience even for newbies like us. strongly recommended.

The scenery along the Kiulu River was absolutely breathtaking, and we loved how the rafting had the perfect mix of excitement and relaxation. Rafting is a lot of fun! It's only slightly thrilling, so even elementary school kids can participate. The tour guide is also very talkative. Although we didn't get to go on the firefly tour in the end due to heavy rain, at least we took a boat trip to see the monkeys (not proboscis monkeys). The tour guide tried hard to explain in English, but because the accent was a bit heavy, I only understood about 70%, but the tour guide would observe our reactions and explain it a few more times, which is a good opportunity to practice spoken English and listening skills.

This was my first time whitewater rafting, and I definitely made the right choice! Led by our guide Ariff, we didn't fall into the water once, and even though we don't know how to swim, we felt completely safe while still experiencing plenty of excitement! Ariff was incredibly kind and kept things interesting the whole time, telling us many things. Along the way, there was a photographer who took pictures for us for free, which was an unexpected bonus! It was awesome! Since we went on a weekday, we practically had the place to ourselves, with no one else joining us, making it a truly excellent experience! The night before, the guide added us to a group chat to explain everything, so there's no need to worry!

We confirmed the pick-up time via WhatsApp the night before the event, which was around 11:30, but the van was half an hour late, so we ended up waiting in the hotel lobby for 45 minutes. Lunch and dinner were mediocre, only the fried chicken was good but not enough. The overall itinerary was satisfactory. The length of the rapids was appropriate. Although the water quality of the river was not good, there was a dedicated person to take photos and send a google drive link to share the photos. The beach sunset and fireflies were a surprise. The tour guide Arie took a lot of beautiful photos for everyone and attracted many fireflies to our boat. This experience was very good.

It was very fun, the process was very interesting, the service was very good, the atmosphere was very pleasant and joyful, and I was very happy. Our family chose this trip and met a very good store.

The instructors are friendly and always smiling, making the entire activity enjoyable for all three generations. They also took many photos throughout the experience, allowing us to preserve these wonderful memories.

It was my first time rafting with children. It was not exciting, but the experience was great and I still found it fun. There will be time to go into the water and play in the water. Specialized photographers will go to various places to help take pictures. After the trip, you can send photos via Whatsapp. The most unbearable thing is that people often smoke while waiting.

It was a very good experience. We received prompt recognition, and we were the only participants of the day. We were given a safety briefing, and during the ride, our guide told us lots of interesting facts about the country and its wildlife. The food was good, and I also told them that morning that I was vegetarian, and they accommodated my diet without any problem. The photographer asked for our email address and sent us the photos that same day. The truth is, the entire experience was a 10/10.
