What to expect
【Kamakura & Enoshima】
- Depart from Tokyo to Kamakura High School, and take classic photos from "Slam Dunk".
- Visit Enoshima and taste local specialties. “Slam Dunk” features a close-up of Enoshima in the distance. It is also the original filming location for Ashikajima in the famous game “Memories Off”; the story of “Tsuritama” is set in Enoshima, Shonan, and the original legend of Enoshima is adapted as a key point of the story; it is also the setting for the anime “Squid Girl”, “Giant Killing”, “Elfen Lied”, “Ping Pong”, and an important location in the manga “Sakura Tsushin”. 【Atami Fireworks Display】
- The Atami Fireworks Display is held regularly throughout the year, not just in summer, and is famous throughout Japan. Atami's natural geographical location makes the fireworks display even more dramatic.
- Atami is located on the eastern side of the Izu Peninsula and is a popular tourist destination, with its regular fireworks display being one of its biggest attractions. Atami is situated on a natural basin coast formed by surrounding mountains, so the sound of the fireworks exploding reverberates throughout the town, making the display even more impactful and dramatic. The climax is the “Aerial Niagara Falls”. **# Pre-trip Notification ## Between 17:00 and 21:00 the day before departure, we will contact you using the contact information you provided. Reviews
I had an amazing experience on the Kamakura and Atami fireworks tour! The tour guide Sakuragi was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing Japanese culture. He provided fascinating insights into Kamakura’s history and made sure everyone, especially the elderly, felt comfortable and well-cared for throughout the trip. The Atami fireworks show was breathtaking. Sakuragi made sure everyone was well-informed, reminding us about the last train and offering flexible options to get off at Shinjuku or Tokyo station. Our driver, Mr. Ito, was equally thoughtful, stop the bus as close as possible to Atami Beach so we didn’t have to walk far. The Atami fireworks were breathtaking, and the entire trip was smooth and enjoyable thanks to the excellent coordination and care from both the guide and the driver. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore and experience Japan with a thoughtful and professional guide!
Mini van tour for 10pax. 1pm meeting to 11.10pm return. long way to travel to Atami but it was a good experience for fireworks and look around Eno shima , Kamakura high school station useful if you stay around Shinjuku
It was my first time seeing fireworks from the sea, and it was truly spectacular; the fireworks were beautiful. I'm so glad we chose the boat tour to watch them. We were the fourth group to board, and we easily found an excellent viewing spot. The weather was clear, and we could see very bright stars from the sea without any light pollution. Another highlight of this trip was seeing bioluminescent plankton (blue tears) in the ocean – I was so happy! The weather was cool and comfortable during our visit. Mr. Sakuragi's commentary and explanations of the attractions along the way were very detailed, and he helped us complete a wonderful journey. Thank you.
Our tour guide, Tanni, was extremely professional, attentive, and engaging. She paid close attention to the needs of the group members and was quick to assist whenever help was needed. Since we had two elderly individuals with us who had some difficulty with their legs and found it inconvenient to get on and off the bus, we had hoped for seats closer to the front of the tour bus. Tanni was very helpful in arranging for the elderly members to sit in the front row, making it easier for them to board and alight. Additionally, when we went to Atami to watch the fireworks, she gave excellent suggestions to the group on the bus, advising us on advantageous spots where we could comfortably enjoy the fireworks display. This made the entire trip end on a very pleasant note. Tour guide Tanni demonstrated professionalism throughout the entire journey, and we hope to have the opportunity to join another tour with her in the future! 🥰🥰🥰
We participated in the Kamakura + Enoshima + Atami Boat Fireworks one-day tour. We'd like to thank our guide, Hathaway, for her full-day leadership and care. The itinerary and timing were well-arranged and ample. She frequently appeared near our waiting areas, making her easy to find; seeing her team flag always put us at ease. The itinerary was clearly and simply explained, and she also sent us her location so we knew exactly where the tour bus was parked. The timing of the tour was managed perfectly, making the trip very smooth. We were also very satisfied that we returned a bit earlier than expected. Thank you very much for this trip.
Our tour guide, Sakura, is really like Sakuragi Hanamichi from Slam Dunk! 😂😂😂 He can freely switch between Chinese, English, and Japanese, which is amazing. His explanations of the sights were precise, and he knew exactly what kind of stories I wanted to hear. 😁 Our driver, Mr. Wang, also had excellent driving skills, and I slept very well on the bus. Seeing the fireworks from the boat requires a lottery, and unfortunately, our group drew second to last, so we couldn't get a good spot to watch. A friendly reminder: the view of the fireworks from the top deck is obstructed by the ship's equipment, so maybe the stern of the second deck would be the best viewing spot (but I'm not sure if every boat has the same setup).
It was amazing experience. The guide know english and Chinese so I can understand everything. the experience is amazing. fireworks are so beautiful. it is completely good experience. worth of money.
the firework is amazing. the tour guide gave suggestions on the spots to enjoy it. It is a better alternative rather than staying at atami for a night. the hotel is 3~4 times higher than the day before.
Would like to thank our guide Ms Yanyan, who was very helpful and friendly. Most time was spent on travelling but it is still a good itinery. Enoshima island was a good small walk. And for Slam dunk anime fans, the Kamakura kokomae scene will be a good photo taking location. And if course the night time fireworks at Atami Beach completes makes the trip memorable.
The tour is great value for money, and the tour guide, JuJu, is friendly and kind. The itinerary is well-organized, and the tour bus is waiting at the meeting point early, so guests don't have to wait for the bus in the hot weather. Worth recommending! 👍 You can also see Mount Fuji along the way. JuJu arranged a great viewing spot for the fireworks display, away from the crowded beach. The driver also deserves praise for arriving at Shinjuku Station on time.
