Nyonya Kebaya and Batik Shirt Experience in Malacca

All of the staff were helpful with choosing the colors. We availed hair and makeup on the same day for the full experience. It was located near a lot of attractions, so there was enough time to walk around, go sightseeing, and take pictures.

The shop owners were very helpful and they even gave me a list of places to go to as well as food recommendations!

The costumes were cute and there were many sizes. There were also many accessories. My mother, who went with me, was also satisfied. It was great to take photos with the beautiful cityscape of Malacca. If you go to Malacca, I highly recommend this experience!!

The clerks there have good taste and will proactively recommend suitable combinations without charging extra for hair tying or shoe rental. It’s simple to use and you can also take beautiful photos. I recommend this store!

The staff is friendly and accommodating. Booked an afternoon slot but saw the weather report that it will be raining so went in the morning and they are able to accommodate the change. As per described, outfit plus an umbrella and a folding fan, ready for the exploration in the streets. So many interesting locations for one to take photos and bring back fond memories.

Staff was efficient in helping to choose the outfit, touch up makeup (add on) and hairdo (add on). 3h rental timing starts when you are done dressing up. Downside is that the shoes for rental (add-on) were quite old already, not much selection to match too. They also rented us umbrella & fan which complements the photo taking! Booking through klook was also fuss-free and made it easy to redeem. Just had to let the staff scan the QR code. Will need to prepare RM 50 for deposit too.

A really nice cultural experience that I highly recommend. There's a good selection of colors and outfits, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We then loved immersing ourselves in old Malacca in our traditional outfits.

Service was personalised and very efficient. Highly recommend the hair do (extra RM$30) and shoes (range of price) if you wish. They also colour match my husband’s shirt and sarong. Note - it might be beneficial to know that if you are dressed up, the Baba Nyonya Heritage museum will want to charge you RM$100 instead of RM$18 and there is another smaller museum and they have also inflated their entry price for those in costume. Hope this will help plan your 3 hours.
