Reviews
The staff were incredibly friendly and skilled! The location was also perfect, right in front of the Tabito bus stop and Dazaifu Station. The hair styling, in particular, was truly artistic. When upgrading to premium on-site (which includes hair styling and more yukata options for women, but no hair styling for men), there was an additional charge of approximately 5,500 yen for two women. Even short hair could be styled! Please note that if you have a larger build or hips, your yukata design choices might be limited due to sizing. As of early June, wearing a yukata was comfortably warm and pleasant!
The staff were super friendly! I had a great time choosing my kimono, obi, and even the bag that goes with it!! I also opted to wear the wooden slippers and it’s actually not that uncomfortable! They also let you choose your hairstyle (additional 2700 yen) but no make up. I loved wearing the kimono and strolling around Yanagawa. We even took a riverboat ride and it was awesome. Definitely recommend this shop!
Our order was placed at about 11 o'clock, but we arrived at the site earlier. The store still received us, and their attitude was professional and friendly. There are many clothing accessories to choose from. Although we were unable to add a hairstyle plan on that day, the store rented 550 yen hair accessories to help us tie a ponytail. When changing clothes, we were provided with numbered large cardboard boxes to put our clothes in. We could choose to put our belongings in a cloth bag, and they also provided shoes and socks. The temperature dropped sharply that day, and we didn't feel cold because of the multiple layers of the kimono and the heating clothes underneath [the boys' clothes were thinner, so my husband felt very cold]. When the weather is cold, it is recommended to wear elastic thermal clothing with a low V-neck or U-neck. If you are afraid of the cold, you can bring a thick scarf as an outer layer. Liuzhou Water Town is really suitable for taking photos in kimono. I did some research in advance and knew that it was the Girls' Festival in Yanagawa, and there was a yaburu horse event at the Sanzhu Shrine that day. It also coincided with the Kyushu cherry blossom season, so I took a lot of photos. For lunch, because there was a long line at Yuanzu Benjiya, we turned a corner and went to a nearby restaurant to eat eel rice, which is commonly eaten by locals. It was really delicious and the service was good. There was hot tea to drink. Seeing that we were wearing kimonos and it was inconvenient to sit on the tatami, they took the initiative to provide small chairs. I highly recommend it.
We have a great experience wearing the kimono. The shop ladies are friendly and helpful. The hairdo also very pretty. The shopowner even helped us call a cab to the Yanagawa River for the boat ride. Very highly recommended.
The store is a few walk from the train station and there were a lot of kimono design prints to choose from. I think they had a hard time dressing me up lol! but the staff are so hospitable and kind. it was a fun experience.
The ladies were so kind and talented! They also have a beautiful sense of taste, so not to worry if you are not sure what to pick. The selections of kimonos were vast and pretty.
We were late because we were not familiar with the subway, so Klook helped us delay our trip for half an hour with the store. It was only after I arrived that I realized I had booked the wrong branch. But the store owner was nice enough to let us change it. They also served us patiently. The whole experience was very comfortable and happy. There are many kimonos to choose from, and it’s difficult to choose. The hairstyles you purchase are also very professional and beautiful. It was a very hot day and although I was sweating, it was well worth it!
The store is very close to Dazaifu Station. Just cross the street and walk to the right. The store is small but very clean. There are many beautiful styles of kimonos and yukatas. The store staff are attentive and professional in helping with matching and setting hair. Wearing yukata in summer is cooler, although in summer It was very hot, but I was very satisfied with the kimono rental experience this time and it is worth recommending👍 "Warm reminder: The basic price is ¥4950, it is recommended to upgrade directly to ¥7700 for a set"
We enjoy the experience wearing kimono . It was fun we will recommend it. Value for money It's worth the experience.
Klook’s plan is a basic experience without hairstyle (¥4950). It is recommended that you directly pay the price difference of ¥2750 to upgrade to the all-inclusive advanced plan (¥7700). You can choose lace kimonos and hairstyles. Their hairstyles are very careful. ! The location is convenient and easy to find. It is just to the left of the intersection after Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station. After changing clothes, it was easy to walk around the Dazaifu area. We spent 1 hour from 12 o'clock to changing clothes, and then walked around for about three hours. 5 It’s just right before ordering, and it’s not too tiring to wear all day😆
