Amidst the bustling heart of Xiamen Island, Andaz Xiamen has reimagined the "Nanyang Art Mansion" with modern design. Designed by Jaya Ibrahim Studio, it integrates the century-old heritage of the overseas Chinese villas on Gulangyu Island with contemporary aesthetics. Stepping into the courtyard initiates a dialogue between time and space. The traditional flower tiles, rattan weaving techniques and urban texture collide. The designer takes the sense of breathing as the thread, breaks the boundaries through green plants and light and shadow, and allows history and contemporary nature to coexist. Andaz Xiamen just like a curatorial space of Nanyang aesthetics, reconstructs the circulation with geometric lines through the corridor arches. The guest rooms are decorated with rattan weaving, wooden blinds and flower brick carpets, recreating the atmosphere of overseas Chinese living abroad. The bougainvillea art installation in the elevator lobby condenses the image of Xiamen's "Garden on the Sea". Here, you can not only immerse yourself in the charm of Southeast Asia but also enjoy the hustle and bustle of southern Fujian and the convenience of the city, embarking on an elegant journey of living.
