FantasticSolo stay
Very surprised ... older buidling of course but very comfortable stay ... great location with very helpful staff. The highlight was the central garden - a nice cool and quiet getaway from the busy street life one step away. I enjoyed the breakfasts and the good coffee ... bar service was informal in a very friendly way! I would stay again!

I had a wonderful stay at the Hôtel d’Angleterre and would happily return.
From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was warm, friendly, and attentive, creating the kind of hospitality that makes a stay truly memorable.
The hotel itself has beautiful old-world Parisian charm while still offering spacious, comfortable rooms. My room featured a gorgeous clawfoot bathtub, which was the perfect place to unwind after long days exploring the city. One of my favourite features was the peaceful interior courtyard—an unexpected oasis that was incredibly quiet and serene despite being in the heart of Paris.
Breakfast each morning was delicious and wonderfully fresh. There was an excellent selection of buttery croissants, pain au chocolat, cereals, fresh fruit, jambon, cheeses, jams, and excellent coffee—a perfect way to start each day before sightseeing.
The location is outstanding. It’s an easy walk to the Musée d’Orsay, the Louvre Museum, and the Tuileries Garden, while also being perfectly situated for exploring the charming Left Bank, including the Sorbonne, Odéon, the Luxembourg Gardens, and iconic cafés like Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore.
If you’re looking for an authentic Parisian hotel with character, comfort, exceptional service, and an unbeatable location, I can’t recommend Hôtel d’Angleterre highly enough. I’ll almost certainly be staying here again on my next visit to Paris.

FantasticStayed with family
No AC, but that’s ok. It was an amazing stay overall. They provide fans and they can’t be responsible for the heat wave. Amazing hotel and staff.

This hotel is situated on the left bank - in the Latin Quarter lots of restaurants and cafes and very close to the Isle de la Cite sights.
The hotel staff on the whole were very good, though we did feel a certain ambivalence from some members at times.
The buffet breakfast is good.
The main issue was the wi-fi signal. Quite simply, it was appalling in our room (i.e. outside the hotel reception area) - the connection kept dropping and sometimes the wifi connection did not come up at all. The problem may be because the Hotel is next to the Sorbonne and the university wifi signals appear to be much stronger.

Great Some wear in the bathroom of my room and only a fan in a Canicule of heat…no aircon on the top floor!
Wonderful breskfast, inner courtyard and super helpful staff. A brilliant location in St Germain.

We always stay here when we are in Paris.
The hotel with central garden is eye candy. The staff are outstanding, especially Lara and Jean, and the rooms are charming. Excellent location!

My girlfriend and I were lucky to get a room at this hotel at the last minute. I was familiar with the area from previous trips to and this neighborhood is one of the best in Paris.
The staff were polite, friendly and helpful, the hotel was overall quiet and clean. The location is great for both city experience and sight seeing (we were more interested in the former) and is very safe. You can walk along la Rue Bonaparte with antique galeries on both sides to the Seine.

FantasticStayed with friends
This is a lovely hotel right in the part of Paris I like best. It has a good welcoming feel.
I particularly liked the option of eating breakfast in the courtyard each morning. We had a really nice large room overlooking the street. Beds were very comfortable. We were given 2 large fans to help us cool down on sweltering days.
See both agreed we shall return to this hotel in the future.
