Stayed with kids

Room was cheap but no toaster or microwave in the room. No kitchen facility and room was on 4th floor when only one elevator was working and there is no sound or display in elevator that you know which floor you stopped. Lot of guest keep come out on wrong floor because of this. I dont recommend if you are traveling with children.

Drafty rooms, jet tubs don’t work. The rooms are in need of updating and tuning up. The breakfasts were nice. The sulfur smell from the geothermal features was overwhelming

Our room looked tidy, until i got to the bathroom to have a shower. Alot of mould on the ceiling & mould & grime in the shower. It instantly made me feel ill. I asked for a room change. We were upgraded. The second room was a bit better, but there was mould on the bathroom ceiling & grime on the window panes. Not as much as the previous room, but it was still there. The kitchen bench hadnt been cleaned. There was sticky grime on that. There was no microwave, cutlery & plates. No dish liquid or cloth's to clean up after ourselves. It consisted of 2 wine glasses, 2 small glass tumblers, 2 cups & 2 teaspoons. I had to ring the motel restaurant to ask for plates & cutlery for our room, as we provided our own food. With the cost of the rooms, what are we paying for? A bed to sleep in? One positive, the bed was comfortable. The cleaning staff need to be retrained & their work checked. So disappointed. Will not be returning.

Fantastic

Stayed with kids

We had an awesome stay at Arawa Park Hotel during our weekend holiday in Rotorua. The room was clean and organized when we arrived. The staff was also helpful, especially when we requested for a cot for our little one. The breakfast was also delightful! Overall, we highly recommend the hotel and we would definitely be back if given the chance 😊

The rooms are big with a lot of space. They are needing a good clean as in mild in the shower. Handles on the kitchen bench were needing a scrub.

We had a kitchen with no utensils at all..seems pointless! A dead beetle in our bathroom for the duration of stay even after cleaning! The staff were friendly and helpful.

work out facilities marginal. Staff friendly. Buffet adequate but I wouldn't go there unless it was for convenience -which it definitely was on last day. Comfortable beds!
