Beautiful park with a lake just beside the hotel, efficient shuttle bus service, delicious food, unique open air onsen design. Room a bit small, restaurant rather crowded.

I booked a indoor onsen room. However the bottom of the tub and the wooden floor are blackened. I couldn’t really enjoy the in room onsen as I originally wished. The Buffet is good, but after staying at Hoshino Keiryu for 2 days then to Aomoriya , similar content of buffet again, kind of disappointing. In addition, there were no explanations about availability of meal upgrade to show dinner and Nanbusa breakfast. I have to asked about it after I read someone’s blog. Staff’s English wasn’t great either although the underground corridor atmosphere was awesome.
