Solo stay

Fantastic motel, easy parking, quick check in and short walk to great fish and chip shop. Even though they were super busy the rooms are super quiet and spacious with no outside noise heard. Well set out with air fryer, fry pan and microwave so you reheat and eat in your room.

Standard Motel, decent location. Host was very accommodating for our late arrival. Didn't expect the "twin bed" in the 3 person room to be a pullout couch type bed, which was uncomfortable for the guest, so heads up for that. Birds at night were pretty loud and you could hear them in the room, so recommend ear plugs.

We had an amazing stay at Castle Crest Motel. The staff were great. The room was not fancy, but it was clean, up-to-date, and well maintained. The location is an easy walk to the Strand and the beach. If I return to Townsville in the future (I hope I do!) I will definitely book here again.
