We enjoyed out stay in this hotel because the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was also very friendly, helpful and polite. I love that it has its own private jetty where we could take the river cruise. Highly recommended!

A Romantic Night by the Melaka River — Casa de Rio Perfectly located: Jonker Street, Dutch Square, the churches and observation tower are all within a leisurely walk — an ideal base for exploring Melaka. The real magic is the room: a spacious balcony overlooking the river, boats drifting past under glittering lights at night — like a living painting. It's the details that touch you: spotless rooms, courteous service, and candles quietly lit in the evening with the gentle scent of essential-oil wax filling the air — romance down to the bone. Breakfast offers both buffet and à la carte — freshly cooked, beautifully plated. The pool is immaculate, parking ample with security on watch. Where you rest at night shapes the soul of a journey. Casa de Rio, we'll be back.

Hotel has a great location, just a 2-minute walk next to the popular Jonker Street. Each room comes with a balcony that overlooks the malacca river or pool view. The rooms are very big, spacious and clean, making it a very pleasant stay. Additionally, the staff is friendly and give good service with the welcome drink upon arrival.

First time coming back post-covid, everything is still as wonderful as previous stays. Staffs were courteous, room was excellent & service was superb. If you want a hotel stay that is in the heart of melaka city but still have the sense of privacy & peace, I'd definitely recommend staying here.
