E&O definitely more than a hotel ! Our journey started from 6 years ago, we cannot wait to enjoy the whole journey 5D4N staying in E&O. The authentic Continental decorations inspired from its amazing history and architecture. Every morning, we so enjoyed and chilled in front of the sea view and breeze for breakfast. Penang is one of the favorite places you can’t miss.

The room and hotel were as expected for a 5-star establishment. But the noise from the streets and bowling center beside it was beyond annoying. Loud talking and laughing could be heard in the middle of the night as the bowling center staff left work. Try avoiding the corner rooms where you can see the bowling center. Breakfast was all right. Staff was always courteous and helpful. I might stay again although I will certainly ask for rooms which are quieter.

E&O Hotel is one of the oldest hotel in Penang which was founded in 1885. Nevertheless, the hotel building is well maintained and we were impressed by the colonial architecture and its histories. We stayed at Victory Annexe Studio Suite King. The suite is spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a balcony attached to the suite, offering an amazing and relaxing sea view! The complimentary hotel breakfast buffet was wonderful, huge selection of international foods including local, Asian and Western foods. The stay was pleasantly relaxing. My husband and I had the best time in the hotel.

Had a great experience at this hotel with lots of history. Room has a luxurious feel (albeit with a slighted dated feel for certain parts). Comes with a balcony that afford great view. Also smoothing to hear the waves. Note that certain corners of the room (such as the back of the TV console) can be dusty. Breakfast at the hotel can be improved in terms of variety and taste. However, we commend the service level of the restaurant staff.
