I LOVE THE STAFF — everyone was very friendly and accommodating! Location is also a big plus. Starbucks, Mister Kabab, 7-Eleven, Lawson, Dunkin, Pancake House and Buddy’s are all walking distance. If you don’t mind walking farther, SM Megamall, Podium and Shang are nearby too. My concerns: the shower has the old-school separate hot/cold controls, so getting the right temperature can be tricky. The POOL IS UNDER RENOVATION and staff said it has been that way for about a year, which was really disappointing since my kids and I were looking forward to it. Most concerning were the windows. My 2-year-old was able to turn the window knob, which honestly scared me. I reported it but nothing was done before we checked out. Cabinet drawers also don’t open fully, and the sink/toilet drain very slowly. Overall, between Richmonde Ortigas and Eastwood, I’d definitely choose ORTIGAS. Eastwood? Never again.

Overall, it was an average stay, but I would give it an extra star because of the excellent staff. Everyone we encountered was courteous, helpful, and welcoming. We especially appreciated that they allowed us a late checkout without us even having to ask, which was a thoughtful gesture and made our stay more convenient. The hotel’s location is also a plus, with easy access to nearby establishments in Ortigas. However, the rooms are already showing their age and are due for updates and refurbishment. One thing that stood out was the TV, which felt very outdated. It was not a smart TV, and the picture quality was poor and unclear, making it feel like an older setup that has not been upgraded in a long time. While the facilities could benefit from modernization, the staff’s exceptional service helped make the experience more pleasant. Overall, a decent stay with great service, but the rooms and in-room amenities would greatly benefit from updates.
