Nana was the best tour guide in the world! You would not believe how hard this woman worked for us. She went above and beyond to make sure every single person was taken care of and included. Also, I am pregnant and she made sure to wait for me and help me stay comfortable throughout the day. She also took extra care of me and made sure to take extra photos of my husband and I at every chance she could, as she said it was such an important time in our lives, so we should have as many memories as possible. She also helped us order food at the restaurant, buy snacks and souvenirs. I can't say enough about how wonderful she was. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, NANA! 🥰

This was an excellent tour. A tour is definitely better than going by yourself! I bought a Taiwan Pass this time, but I also booked a tour because I thought I'd get tired, and it was absolutely the right decision! You can nap a bit on the bus to the next destination, and if you want to leave souvenirs or other luggage, you can store it on the bus. This allows you to explore the next sightseeing spot unencumbered, which is so much easier without carrying your bags! I highly recommend it! If you're considering it, everyone should use this tour! The guide sent an email the day before. It stated, "You are number [X] tomorrow. We will meet at 8:05 AM. Let's have fun!" and included a photo of the meeting spot. The next day, they greeted us with a smile, confirmed the number of participants, and once everyone was there, we departed! This time, explanations were given in both Japanese and English. Inside the bus, the guide tallied up orders for recommended drinks, chicken and ice cream in Jiufen, lanterns, and entrance fees. Upon arrival at the location, those who ordered received their items, and payment was collected on the bus afterward. Since our Taiwan Pass included entrance fees and lanterns, we only ordered drinks and food. During our tour, some other participants were about 15 minutes late for the meeting time. The driver seemed quite angry, but the guide kindly took care of them. On the way back, the guide suggested a group selfie, took a photo of everyone on the bus with their phone, and sent it to us before we reached the drop-off point. The bus was full with about 40 people. The service was excellent from the day before until the end of the tour. If anyone else is traveling to Taiwan, I would definitely recommend this tour! We took the morning tour, and the waterfall had a lot of water due to recent rain, which was impressive. It was also great to see rocks of various shapes, and at the lantern spot, the scenery was beautiful. The staff took photos and videos for us, suggested various poses, and the pictures turned out great. It was also good that it didn't rain in Jiufen. I truly recommend it!

At the beginning, we will cruise nearby and then have dinner on the platform of Ocean Ranch. Ocean Ranch has all-you-can-eat grilled oysters and seafood porridge, but the seafood porridge has no ingredients. After 4 bowls, it is still a bit empty... In addition, a la carte is provided on the ship. It's a pity that the services are only a bit expensive for the meals. You can fish for small pipes in the sea on the boat. If you catch one, the kitchen can cook it for you on the spot. The chance of catching one person on the whole boat is very low. In addition, there are fun fishing on the platform (no The hook is only bait) and you can catch sea bream, flower branches, etc. The overall experience is pretty good~

We enjoyed our day trip to Shifen, Jiufen and the Taiwanese pineapple pastry shop. Our guide, Jeff, was okay, but the tour felt a little rushed and we would have liked more time at each place. The driver was very friendly and Jeff, took good care of us throughout the trip. Although the time was limited, we still enjoyed the experience overall. Thank you for taking care of us!

We had a wonderful time. Though the tour date was moved, it was still worth it. Kate was amazing! Kind, organized, she briefed the group well. She had lots of history and information about the tour. We learned a lot of things. We had a great day because Taichung is fantastic and so was Kate.
