Things to do in Hualien

Online tickets are cheaper than buying at the gate; for Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung residents, it's around $299 at the gate. All activities, including the dolphin show and parade, are held on weekdays, and there are no lines for the rides, so you can ride them again and again—it's a lot of fun. They sell grape cups at the dolphin show! They're quite tasty at $199, a bit pricey but great, and they feel healthy. I hope they offer more fruit cup varieties in the future, as it's healthier for kids! All in all, it's a very fun and great value amusement park!

We booked a pickup service, and the driver arrived early at the hotel to pick us up. Upon arrival, he guided us to collect our boat tickets and then to a small classroom for a briefing. After the briefing, we set off. On the boat, the guide continuously shared information and taught us methods to alleviate seasickness. Seeing the dolphins was truly breathtaking; we marveled at the wonders of nature. The dolphins swimming around the boat were incredibly impressive. The entire experience, from boarding to disembarking, lasted about 1.5 hours and was absolutely worthwhile.

An absolutely fantastic experience!!! 100 points!! The boat was very comfortable and clean! And my mom and I didn't get seasick! Others did, haha! Seeing the ocean was truly amazing! You definitely have to choose this boat; it's a great experience, and they even provide pickup and drop-off, which is very thoughtful. I was originally worried about getting sick, even though I wore anti-nausea acupressure patches, but I guess I forgot all about it because I was in such a good mood!!!! The dolphins were super cute and there were so many of them!!!! The color of the ocean was an unparalleled blue!!! Enjoy your visit to the Taroko Gorge, even though most of the trails are closed due to the 2024 earthquake. It's still a pleasant experience with a few stops along the way. Thanks to Josephine for her explanations and her sense of humor.

This trip was fantastic! Our tour guide, Mr. Xu, did an excellent job arranging everything for us, allowing us to fully experience the romance of the Pacific. We saw the crystal-clear waters of Qixingtan at its best in the morning, spotted dolphins during our boat trip, and the ocean color at Qingshui Cliff was truly mysterious and beautiful. He also shared some local insights, giving us a deeper understanding of the area. Thank you very much! ^_^♪

This is a great place for the whole family to visit on a nice day! There are also many small animals, which is very therapeutic! You'll find adorable calves, raccoons, and Bambi deer, offering a lot of variety! The park is large enough to spend an entire day. There are a few small mosquitoes in the park, so you might want to bring your own mosquito repellent or patches. Online ticket purchases also offer discounts! Highly recommended!

The scenery along the Xiuguluan River is truly worthwhile. It doesn't have to be thrilling; just sitting on the boat and slowly drifting along feels wonderful. At the end, there's even a delicious zongzi to eat, which I think is fantastic 🫶🏻

Highly, highly recommend! My family loved it! 💕 1. The instructor was incredibly professional. 2. We learned about Amis indigenous culture. 3. We gained a clear understanding of hunting knowledge. 4. The archery experience was very fun. 5. We tried on Amis traditional clothing. 6. We experienced making bamboo rice, grilling wild boar, and tasting wild vegetable soup (it was super delicious!). 7. Millet wine was all-you-can-drink (so happy!). P.S. Please do not drink alcohol if you are under 18. Drinking harms your health, but not drinking makes you sad. Highly, highly recommend! The kids at home loved it! 👍

We spent 2 hours on the boat and we saw dolphins! Before, we had a briefing about the different species (but as it was in chinese, we didn't understand, same for the instructions on the boat). The team tried to find the whales, but as many on the previous reviews, we didn't succeed. It's ok, we were happy to see dolphins! Also, the car was on time for pick up, everything was fluid.
