I mainly wanted to see pink muhly grass, and my request was satisfied! Some parts of the herb garden were under maintenance, but I saw a lot of cats there, which made me very happy! Sanjeong Lake has a serene environment, and we enjoyed a comfortable half-hour walk. At Baegunsan Valley Falls, walking across the suspension bridge was quite fun! Lunch was at our own expense. We ate at a restaurant near Sanjeong Lake, the one recommended by the tour leader, and the taste was pretty good! It cost 30,000 Won for two people.

Our tour guide Mario was great, constantly taking photos for everyone. Herb Island is beautiful, especially the pink muhly grass area. The path up there is quite steep and a bit tiring.

We had a wonderful day exploring Sanjeong Lake, Pigeon Nang Waterfall, and Herb Island under the expert guidance of Mario. From start to finish, Mario was warm, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable—he made the entire experience smooth despite the long travel times. Sanjeong Lake was serene and picturesque, a perfect spot for photos and quiet reflection. Pigeon Nang Waterfall was a refreshing highlight, surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sound of cascading water. While traffic was a challenge and Herb Island didn’t quite meet expectations—perhaps due to the weather—it didn’t dampen the overall spirit of the tour. The itinerary was well-paced, and Mario’s energy kept us smiling throughout. Highly recommend this tour for nature lovers and those looking to escape the city for a day. Just pack a little patience for the road and enjoy the ride!
