The weather was great, the tour guide Hans spoke good Chinese and was very helpful. He communicated the time and place in advance and picked us up on time. He also made careful arrangements and reminded us of various matters on the mountain, and provided some good angles for taking photos. It was a great trip.

This tour exceeded all expectations—an absolute bucket list experience! From Mt. Bromo’s majestic sunrise to the mesmerizing blue fire of Ijen, every moment was unforgettable. Mt. Bromo Sunrise—We woke early and were guided to the perfect vantage point on Penanjakan Hill. As the first light pierced through the darkness, the volcanic landscape slowly came to life. Wisps of mist drifted around the crater, and the sky morphed into a stunning canvas of pinks, oranges, and purples. The silhouette of Mt. Bromo against the glowing sky was like watching nature perform its own symphony. Truly unforgettable. The Ijen Crater blue fire hike was an otherworldly experience. Waking up at midnight to hike under the stars and witnessing the natural electric-blue flames dancing from the sulfur vents—it was surreal. Tiring, yes, but so worth it! Our guide was a gem—highly professional, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. He managed the schedule flawlessly, shared fascinating insights.

Itinerary: First of all, the whole itinerary is very reasonable and worry-free. After chasing dolphins from Lovina, a driver from Bali will drive us to the pier, and someone will be waiting at the pier to help us board the boat and look after our luggage until we reach the ferry port in Java. Just follow the driver throughout the journey. We also asked the driver to take us to lunch on the way. After arriving in Java, there will be a full-time driver to take care of all the remaining itineraries. DJAFAR picked us up and was very professional and patient. He will communicate with us about the itinerary and respect our ideas, including hotel and airport pick-up, free shopping, meals and other activities. It was very happy and smooth along the way, and we could have fun to our heart's content. In addition, there are private tour guides in Ijen, Saiwu and Bromo volcano to help us handle the itinerary and find the camera position. If we have our own ideas after reading Xiao 📕 or other posts, they will try their best to take us through, and there is no impatience at all. Especially the tour guide of Saiwu Waterfall, it was so fun to follow him and take pictures. He will help communicate with other people who are taking pictures about the camera position, find the location, and give enough emotional value throughout the journey hahahaha. Secondly, Yizhen's tour guide also encouraged us, gave us kopi candies on the way, led us to overtake Blue Fire on the curve, quickly went down the mountain and successfully seized a good camera position. The overall itinerary can achieve a good balance between cost-effectiveness, experience and filming. Accommodation selection: I personally think that the first night> third night> second night. You can be as good as possible and be prepared on the first night. The hotel's shower water pressure on the second and third nights is relatively low, so the shower may be weak, but it is understandable, after all, it is at the foot of the volcano village. The rooms for three nights are relatively clean, and the rooms on the second night may be relatively humid. If you have requirements for accommodation quality, you can try exclusive accommodation. Finally, the person in charge of our group is very responsible. He will ask us about the situation of the day and whether we are adapting to it on whatapps every day, and can provide a variety of services such as English/Chinese, which makes people feel very comfortable.

This place is absolutely breathtaking! The blue fire scenery is magnificent and awe-inspiring. The power of nature make it a must-visit destination! Though the hiking trail is a bit challenging, there are some people can provide the service that uses a trolley and get you up/ down the mountain. On the other hand, the transportation was smooth and good, we don’t have to worry about anything of the transportation. And our guide Leo gave a fabulous service! He is patient and helpful, he also gave detailed explanation. We appreciate his effor a lot.
