We had a wonderful experience with Wasou Komanchi Kanon during our kimono rental. The staff were incredibly warm, professional, and attentive from the moment we arrived. They helped me choose the perfect hairstyle and kimono, and made sure everything fit beautifully and comfortably. I never realized how much effort goes into the dressing process, but they made it smooth and efficient. We also booked a 30mins photography session with them, and the photographer — Yuki was amazing, she guiding us through beautiful spots around Asakusa and helping us capture stunning photos that made the experience even more special.

I had such a lovely time doing the kimono experience with my daughter. When we arrived, we found even prettier kimono options, so we decided to pay a little extra to upgrade — and it was absolutely worth it. This Japan trip has been incredibly fun and memorable, and the staff here were genuinely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Location: Finding the location wasn't so hard after exiting the nearest train. Noted that need to take lift up to Floor 9. Experience: Kimono still intact when we return. safety: Kimono very clean and no funny smell. Instructor: Communication is okay. Able to understand what they said. Equipment: There is a baggage storage. Overall: Everything went smoothly. Staff very passionate and friendly. If you unsure, can always ask the staff for help. Will give 5 star.

The overall process and flow are very clear, and you can also choose a language, which is very convenient for foreign tourists. Renting alone is no problem. You can also choose to pay extra to return it the next day on the spot.

I chose this shop because of their late closing time, which was really nice and we were able to go in the evening and wear the kimonos until 22pm. A nice selection of styles, even if it’s not the premium plan. Hairstyles are really cute. Note that the location is kinda difficult to find, you need go into an alleyway and then you’ll see the sign.

The staff was super friendly and helpful in helping with the kimono. The kimono are also nice and comfortable.

The boss from China serves with Ban Niang❤️ The boss carefully introduces and matches the kimono downstairs 👘 I know how to match it very well. When the choice is dazzled, I believe the boss's choice is right! I chose the most eye-catching lace kimono in the past 2-3 years at a higher price on the day. It is really beautiful to match ~ I will not be disappointed! Banniang helped put on the kimono upstairs. The styling was done by 2 beautiful little sisters from Vietnam. They can communicate in Chinese. They brought pictures for her to do the styling. During the process, she wanted to fine-tune and change hair accessories. The little sisters are very kind. I really don't want to be too satisfied with the repaired results🥹🥹 Although wearing a kimono in early July is really super hot, it is recommended to tie up the hairstyle to make it cooler! The caring Banniang kept reminding us to be careful of heatstroke~ After changing the kimono, the store also stopped the taxi outside the door. The service is super good. I found out during the chat that it has been open for five years. Klook just came here. I didn’t have a single comment when I ordered, but seeing the official pictures and kimonos look good, I didn’t worry too much! I am so happy to have a very pleasant experience, I hope the business of the store is booming, and share the good store with everyone!

Alisa was an amazing guide. She is a great guide for solo travellers. I didn’t have to mess with my tripod to get photos, because she was more than willing to take as many as I wanted. She also responded quickly to emails. I do wish there were more kimono options at the shop though.
