It might be too hot in the summer, and it's difficult to walk around with children. Besides the Great Buddha of Kamakura, which has no stairs, we unfortunately couldn't go up to see Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. However, the tour guide was professional and knew the timing of the Enoden Railway crossing, so we successfully took a picture. If you're bringing children, I recommend they be at least in the upper grades of elementary school.

Overall, we enjoyed the tour although at some parts it could be very rushed. Our mini bus had an engine problem but we managed to still enjoy the last part of the tour and get a replacement bus quickly. We liked the places chosen for us!

I experienced the Kamakura day tour this time, and Mr. Wang Zhe WhatsApped me a day in advance, which scared me because I thought it was a scam text. I didn't expect to see the tour guide, Mr. Wang, holding up his name tag at the meeting point the next morning, and then I realized I had misunderstood! It was a good trip overall. Our tour guide, Mr. Wang, explained the history of Kamakura and the origin of the Kamakura Great Buddha in great detail. The explanations were very thorough, which was an experience I had never had before on a day tour in Japan! The trip went smoothly, and the activities were enjoyable. I highly recommend everyone to come and experience it.
