The room was acceptable, and the location was convenient. However, there was only a kettle in the room, and bottled water incurred an extra charge. When I checked in at night, the front desk staff barely made eye contact with me and were passive in assisting with my booking information issues. Perhaps the hotel's policies are too rigid; in contrast, the hotel I stayed at the next day handled everything easily. This check-in process at the front desk took a long time, which negatively impacted my experience.

Even checking in late at night, there was someone available to assist, although the staff seemed a bit surprised to see someone checking in at that hour. The daytime cleaning staff were very willing to help resolve any issues, and I'm truly grateful for that. Due to environmental reasons, bottled water isn't provided, and the water dispenser is quite discreetly located, requiring a password from the front desk. Nevertheless, it's still a highly recommended place to stay; the environment is quiet and beautiful, the price is affordable, and while there are stairs, there's also an elevator for convenience.

This is my second stay here. Last time, the double room was small, but the service and environment were clean and thoughtful. I wanted to stay last year but there were no rooms available, which was a shame. This time, traveling with three people, I finally managed to book a room. The triple room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and large, cozy beds. We arrived early and the room was ready, so the owner allowed us to check in early. Basically, there's nothing to complain about. In the small space of Hong Kong, having this type of room is highly recommended. Plus, Temple Street and 7-Eleven are right downstairs, making it very convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. The MTR is also very close, just a five-minute walk. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Overall, I'd give it an 8/10. It costs 1,928 baht per night on weekdays. It's located in the Jordan area. You can take bus route 21 for $34.6 and get off right in front of the hotel. It's about a 2-3 minute walk from there. At the entrance of the alley, there's a 7-Eleven and a shop selling 3 bottles of water for $10. It's also close to the MTR. The hotel requires a $500 deposit. When checking out, remember to show your receipt at the counter. There's no 'do not disturb' sign to hang, so when I returned to my room in the evening, the housekeeper had already cleaned it, which I wasn't too happy about. The pillows and bed are soft; overall, it's comfortable. The room has carpet, and there were some dust bunnies in the corners. The bathroom door doesn't close completely. There's a safe and a refrigerator provided. Some of the front desk staff who don't speak much English can be quite irritable with guests.

Regal Riverside Hotel in Sha Tin has quite a convenient location, not far from Sha Tin town center. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable to sleep in, and the staff were quite polite. Both check-in and check-out were very fast, and the hotel facilities are also quite comprehensive. Overall, the stay was quite comfortable, making it quite suitable for visiting Sha Tin or staying for a few days.
