We went on a day trip to Auschwitz and Birkenau with Kate as our driver. She was punctual, cheerful, and made the journey very pleasant. Our guide at the site, Kasja, was incredibly knowledgeable and easy to understand. An intense but very well-organized experience — worth every cent

we booked the tour with hotel pick up instead of us waiting at the designated meeting point. although it is a bit more expensive when choosing this method but not having to walk to the meeting point in the cold is a truely bonus.

visited late Nov, very heavy snow that day. drive was comfortable. Had to wait 2 hrs in the snow for the 8am slot. was very crowed. driver told us to take a train back at our own expense coz she had to wait to bring back other guest. She dropped us at the krakow train station. Trip was definitely still worth it.

The meeting point was convenient, and the driver drove carefully in the heavy snow. The tour guide's English was good and easy to understand, with detailed explanations. The itinerary time was appropriate. The only thing that needs improvement is that we only found out the departure time the day before, and it was non-cancellable. We were scheduled to depart at 5:30 AM, which was really too early. If we hadn't arranged our own breakfast and hadn't booked lunch, we would have been hungry. The travel agency should notify travelers earlier so they can arrange food in advance.

I had a reservation for 8 AM, but the day before, I was suddenly told it had been changed to 6 AM. Despite booking a plan with tickets included, I was made to wait in the cold ticket purchase line on the day. Then, the coordinator bought tickets for an hour later, and I waited at the restaurant for an hour. Regarding transportation, being driven from Krakow to Auschwitz in a van was extremely comfortable (and there was enough space in the trunk for large suitcases). As for the tour itself, the explanation was provided by an Auschwitz staff member, not the coordinator. There are no food or drinks available inside the facility, so you need to buy them in advance at the restaurant or vending machines near the entrance/exit. As a crucial piece of history, it was a very worthwhile place to visit. Ultimately, I'm glad I booked this tour.
