Hotels near Otaru Museum

Great location with an AEON supermarket downstairs and a 100-yen sushi place nearby. Would definitely visit again.

This is the best hotel in Otaru Chikko for viewing the harbor. It's about a five-minute walk from the station, and downstairs you'll find restaurants, various shopping malls, and large supermarkets and department stores – so convenient! The harbor view at night is also fantastic! We booked a twin room again, and the room was much larger than hotels in Sapporo or other cities we visited this time. The mattress was a bit softer, so we slept more comfortably! Unfortunately, the soundproofing in the room was a little poor.

The room type was nice. I didn't purchase breakfast as it was too crowded. The onsen was pretty good, but the late-night ramen was too salty. It's nice that they have popsicles and fermented milk to drink after soaking. There's also coffee on the first floor, which is okay.

The hotel is very close to the JR station, and the breakfast allows you to make your own seafood bowl, which is a great value. There is a supermarket nearby where you can find discounted items in the evening.
