Parking fees are an additional $50 per single entry. There are dining areas throughout the museum where you can bring your own food, or you can purchase food from the museum's restaurants or stalls! The museum offers a lot, including a schedule of activities you can participate in. The children had a great time, and we recommend allocating about 4-5 hours for your visit!

I think the most fun part was the jet ski. The instructor took us from Nanwan to Dawang and back to Nanwan, cruising around the bay. Along the way, we even saw about 6 to 8 sea turtles coming up to the surface to breathe. It was truly worth it!

I was a little worried because there were no Korean reviews, so I went alone. First of all, they spoke English perfectly and were incredibly kind. They even offered to retrieve my phone if I dropped it, and explained everything in detail from start to finish! Instructor Yuki checked everything related to safety one by one, which made the experience really enjoyable. I was so grateful for the photos, 1:1 instruction, and care provided for this price. Usually, the snorkeling I've experienced was just being handed goggles and told to go play, but here, if you swallowed water, the instructor would ask if you were okay and even explain each fish. If you're Korean, just book here, no questions asked. Highly recommended!!

Kenting Forest is a superb activity. You can do the full tour in 2.5-3 hours. There, you can see ravines, coral rocks, Formosan macaques, caves, and a lush forest. It's accessible from Kenting Arch via bus 720 for 20 TWD.

Such a great experience, lovely and passionate people running the tour and despite the language barrier they were very patient, attentive and friendly. The instructor initially pulls you around when you are attatched to a float to show you to the reef and make sure you can use your snorkling equipment correctly; then you are able to explore for yourself. So many beautiful fish, not invasive to the environment (marine protected area) and a highlight was seeing a turtle. They even take a few pictures for you and upload to their Facebook for you to download.

Safety: The surfing spot is a shallow area, with water reaching about waist-level, but there are still waves. This makes it not too dangerous while still allowing you to experience surfing.
Experience: After practicing your stance for half an hour, you can head into the water to prepare for surfing. With the coach's help, you can usually stand up after two or three attempts. Plus, there's a photographer on the beach to help take pictures, producing hundreds of shots per person in an hour, so you're sure to find some great ones.
Coach: The coach is very kind, constantly encouraging and praising you. They have extensive teaching experience and are very enthusiastic.
Location: Staying in Nanwan (South Bay) is more convenient. You can generally walk to the shop in about five minutes, and then walk another five minutes to the beach.
Equipment: It's more convenient to bring your own long-sleeved rash guard or close-fitting swimsuit. You don't really need to bring much else, as there's nowhere to put your belongings on the beach. When you go surfing, all your items, including your phone, can be stored in the lockers at the shop.

The coach explained everything very carefully, which made it a wonderful experience for us as first-time snorkelers. The children also had a blast, constantly exclaiming at the diverse and rich marine life they saw. We were incredibly lucky to even spot a green sea turtle!

The staff contacted us a day in advance to inform us that due to high tide and strong waves at night, the intertidal zone visit would be rescheduled for the daytime. This allowed us to see various creatures more clearly. The staff provided detailed explanations, helping us understand the unique characteristics of the intertidal zone and conveying their passion for Kenting.
