Things to do in Yau Ma Tei

What a great way to tour around the city! We had the best time sightseeing, appreciating, and learning the history of each stop. It was a great bonus to do this on such a fine day! Having been on this tour made it easier for us to explore — less stress and more convenient! We encourage anyone visiting to try this as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed both the permanent collection and the special exhibitions. The ability to see contemporary Asian art is a major advantage. Currently, a solo exhibition by artist Lee Bul is underway. You can also see works by Korean artists such as Kimsooja and Nam June Paik. The views of the West Kowloon Cultural District and Victoria Harbour through the large glass windows are a highlight in themselves. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, which showed great attention to detail. There are food trucks nearby, so it would be a good idea to grab lunch or dinner after seeing the exhibition. (I also visited the adjacent Hong Kong Palace Museum and saw the Egyptian exhibition.)

Nice visiting the HK Palace Museum while only 5 exhibition halls available out of 7 and would be great to have free lockers which would be convenient to visitors. In general, the exhibition about cobalt blue ceramics is fascinating!

The experience was amazing seeing the stunning city lights while on cruise. It''s worth the price. Very highly recommended to every tourist who wants to come in Hongkong. 🇭🇰

Super enjoy kami ni Hubby. Bukod sa mga figures kasi meron din other activities like dancing, singing, and photoshoot areas. Akala namin puro picture picture lang haha may mga ganap din pala. Hindi rin crowded inside kaya parang halos solo namin yung place tho around 11am na kami nagstart. The Maxim's Dim Sum Class is so much fun, I highly recommend it! This is my second time attending. Today, we made a dim sum that's not commonly found everywhere anymore: vegetarian shark fin dumplings. They were incredibly delicious! The whole process was very enjoyable, and the chef taught every detail with great care. We also learned to make mini egg tarts, which were absolutely amazing – you can't find ones this good anywhere else. And there were coconut tarts too! I highly recommend everyone to join. A special thank you to Master Kwan, a truly dedicated, witty, and humorous master chef who meticulously taught us every detail.

It was raining earlier so I felt like we didn’t get to fully experience the cruise but we still had fun! the view was beautiful.
