This is my first time traveling to China, and I chose Shanghai as my first stop. A friend told me that Klook offers free customized itineraries, so I decided to give it a try. I didn't expect Charley, the customer service representative, to be so helpful. They were very patient in telling me the best way to explore the city. Shanghai is bigger than I imagined, and without the custom itinerary planner's recommendations, I might have ended up with a "special forces" style itinerary.

Amazing Experience! Highly Recommend! The booking process was simple, and the team was very responsive to all of my questions. The itinerary was perfectly planned. The local guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we had a deep understanding of the history and culture of each location. Transportation was comfortable and always on time. The group was small enough to feel intimate, but large enough to meet interesting people. Overall, this tour exceeded my expectations. Pros: • Well-organized and smooth logistics • Knowledgeable and friendly guides • Beautiful destinations and great accommodations Cons: • None! Would do it again in a heartbeat.

The tour group was well arranged, and there was no need to worry about food, clothing, housing and transportation. Tour guide Yang was professional and dedicated, and his explanations were lively and humorous, with knowledge and laughter flying together, making the journey particularly fulfilling and enjoyable.

Our tour guide Michael was friendly and helpful. Since our package only includes the chair lift + toboggan which is on the east side, he suggested we can also go to the west side with a cable car for a better view and he was right. The west side is just stunning! Thanks to him we didn’t have to line up for cable car tickets anymore. The lunch is included in the package. The total duration is about 4hours which is on your own pace. Just make sure to get back on time so you can hop on the bus going back to the city center.

Tour guide: When planning the trip, I inquired with several travel companies, specifically asking if they had female guides. Klook recommended Sister Mei to us, saying that customers who had been with her thought she was exceptionally good. So, after comparing several options, we embarked on a five-day, four-night journey with Sister Mei as our driver. Unexpectedly, Sister Mei turned out to be a fantastic guide – patient, meticulous, conscientious, and responsible. She took everyone's feelings into account and took care of us without us having to say much. Sister Mei thoughtfully prepared fruits, snacks, and local delicacies for us. She never rushed us, cared about whether we were warm enough, and demonstrated excellent driving skills on difficult roads. I knew choosing a female driver and female guide wouldn't be a mistake!

Although the driver did not really speak English, he was very responsible while not being too pushy, as we left the hotel later than scheduled. Although weather conditions were not ideal as it was foggy, the trip was still nice. Do note that there are a lot of steps, hence not ideal for prams.

Smooth pick-up and drop-off. Had ample time at the two scenic locations. Really strenuous exercise though. Prepare some salonpas for the stairs! Limited choices for lunch but was OK since it came as a package for the "heaven hole".

it was not known how many and how much more entry tickets are needed once inside these parks. we were just allotted 2 hours and tried to cover what we could. the write up in klook if could provide more details would have helped level set our expectations.
