Miaoli

The place is worth to visit. They have a huge place and you can have picnic there too. They have restaurants if you want to have some meal. Their summer activities made my daughter so happy especially the inflatable pool they set up. It’s very fun and safe since every pool, there are staffs to watch over the kids playing and to avoid accidents. Parents doesnt necessarily need to wear swimwear if you’re not dipping into the water, you can just walk along , take photos and sightsee. we would like to be back in autum or winter. bring a lot of snacks and water as well as food if you want to save some. Klook is very convenient and it’s easy to use.

We arrived at Shang Shun World a bit early that day, but it was quite crowded since it was a holiday. The carousel inside was pretty good; it had two levels, and the kids had a lot of fun. After that, most of the attractions were 3D motion films, which were fun, but most of them were similar in type. Other attractions like the bumper cars and spinning teacups were pretty fun too. Finally, we went to the sixth floor, which was a paradise for kids, with a maze-like play area and small balls to play with. Everyone had a great time, and it's worth a visit.

a really chill and easy place to spend with family especially with younger kids. the feeding experiences were fun for city dwellers. prepare coins for farm animal feeds. The dairy products you can get from the cafe were fresh and tasty! it's a must try. We took the long stroll along the main pathways and visited the butterflies enclosed area. It's pretty amazing. all in all a really enjoyable experience at Miaoli

The room was huge with great value for the price. Both the room itself and the outdoor open-air hot spring pool were very comfortable. It's perfect for families to enjoy together. The complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast were also excellent. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Miaoli! And I would recommend it to my friends.

I booked this place through Klook, and it's just a 5-minute drive uphill to the campsite. The tent is spacious, and there's a large dining and cooking area, so rain won't affect your cooking. The electric fan is very cool. Occasionally, a few cats will stroll by. They provide unlimited gas canisters for the stove, and all the pots, pans, and dishes you need are there. However, due to the heavy humidity in the mountains, and the fact that everything is stored in boxes, some items may be slightly moldy. The refrigerator contains condiments and ice packs, etc. The mosquitoes are very large and not very afraid of mosquito repellent😅. Be sure to light plenty of mosquito coils (the campsite provides them). The showers and toilets have a dry/wet separation, so you don't have to worry about getting dressed in a wet bathroom. Shampoo and body wash are also provided. In the morning, the owner provides a heartfelt breakfast, which was surprisingly delicious steamed buns, kept warm in an insulated bag, which was really touching. They also weren't in a rush to have us leave before 11 am. Maybe it was because it was raining and a weekday, I'm not sure, but it was definitely one of the top 3 best service experiences I've had while camping.

This is my first time in Miaoli. I just looked online to see what's fun nearby, and Klook sells hot spring vouchers, so I came to try it out. The facilities are okay, it's just that the hotel is a bit old, but many Japanese hot spring hotels are old but have their own unique flavor.

This spacious public nude hot spring is becoming more popular as the weather gets colder. It's well-maintained and clean, making it worth the drive for people like me coming from Hsinchu, and even from Taichung. Staying overnight is a bit pricey, so a day trip for the hot spring is a great and affordable option.

The park animals include sika deer, capybaras, and black-faced sheep. The park is very dedicated to maintenance, and the plants are well cared for. Some complain about the ticket price, but do you realize how expensive and difficult it is to care for even one sheep (they can cost millions)? The park is a bit larger than expected, and even the decorations are elaborate. I also noticed many cowbells from Switzerland (it would be great to have a cow wearing one, making the whole park ring!). Overall, it's a very relaxing place. 👍
