Things to do in Noboribetsu

The tour is so fantastic. The view super amazing and the weather is so good when we went to the Fukidashi park, Lake Toya view is so good, and the Lake Hill Farm is a nice place for eat ice cream and see the good view. Last stop is noboribetsu, we can see the sunset and the view is amazing too. This day trip is quite fulfilling, allowing you to easily explore Noboribetsu and Lake Toya without driving. Our guide, Ms. Onodera, was friendly and funny, providing thorough introductions to the history of each attraction, as well as Hokkaido's unique food, entertainment, and recommendations. The meeting point was clear, the weather was great, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of time at each stop to take pictures. Lunch was a simple meal purchased at a convenience store, which we enjoyed while sitting by Lake Toya and taking in the scenery. At Cape Earth, the clear weather allowed us to see Hakodate in the distance, giving us the feeling that the Earth is round. If you didn't purchase a bear park ticket in advance, you can buy one from the guide upon arrival or take a walk around Showa Shinzan outside the park. Along the mountain roads, we were pleasantly surprised to occasionally see wild deer by the roadside. At the Lake Toya observation deck's gift shop, you can buy yogurt drinks, balloon pudding, birch sap, and lavender-related products. You can also purchase medicinal horse oil at the bear park. I think this tour offers excellent value for the money.

1. The natural scenery in Noboribetsu is absolutely breathtaking! The magnificent volcanoes and clear hot springs are incredibly refreshing. 2. Today's trip to Noboribetsu included indulging in a steaming hot spring, truly the best way to relax and rejuvenate! 3. Noboribetsu's Hell Valley is amazing; its unique terrain and steaming vents made me feel the power of nature. 4. I especially enjoyed tasting the local cuisine in Noboribetsu. The fresh seafood and onsen tamago (hot spring eggs) were incredibly delicious and left a lasting impression! 5. The air in Noboribetsu is fresh, and the trails along the way are perfect for strolling, allowing me to experience the charm of nature. 6. The local residents are warm and friendly, making our trip even more enjoyable. I really hope to visit again! 7. The days in Noboribetsu went by too quickly. Both the attractions and the food filled me with wonderful memories!

Highly recommend the tour, easy to book, service was great, good transport. All planned well, our group was big, tour was bilingual in English and Mandarin. It was ok for me as I understand both languages. Just a bit short on each stop and a bit rush if u want to do shopping. But overall we managed to do shopping or eating during the stops. Really convenient for tourist. I would do the same next time to visit other areas.

The guide contacted us the day before on WhatsApp to give us all the information. Super convenient. The meeting point was clear with photos and a map. Our tour was half in Chinese and half in English. The explanations were given in both languages each time. The bus was very comfortable and well heated, which was much appreciated with the -1° outside. The different spots of the day were well organized and with amenities and enough time at each stop to enjoy the view. There is a stop at an area with 2 restaurants. Very good. Note that the roads are winding, so on long journeys you may get a little motion sickness. We loved this tour which allowed us to discover the landscapes of the region easily. Upon arrival in Otaru, you can leave the tour and stay longer if you wish.

Total time to be spent is maximum 2 hours. Recommend to buy bear food, which you can throw to the bear. Duck race is pretty entertaining, you can bet on which duck will win the race. If you are right, you can win a keychain! It was rainy weather unfortunately, very cloudy and could not see the views.

The marine life interaction area inside the aquarium features starfish, sea cucumbers, sea urchins, and even stingrays that you can touch. Their slippery skin and playful habit of slapping the water's surface against the glass are quite charming. The sardine show is also one of the highlights of the aquarium, and it's amazing with its combination of lights and music. The penguins parading around are truly adorable. Wobbly and led by the aquarium staff, they instantly capture everyone's hearts. I highly recommend this place and think it's worth spending 3-4 hours here.
