Jakarta Day trips

Convenient with pick up at hotel and private driver and guide. Comes at a cost but also meant the day is customisable. The places are beautiful but does require some level of fitness and adventurous spirit.

We love every bit of the tour package, the Safari is so big that you'll have so much to do the whole day, never a boring part. The whole place is very kid friendly and will be so much fun for them that we even plan to visit it again next year and bring the kids. We specially commend our driver, Shoimul, for being such a friendly and accommodating driver and tour guide. He even volunteer to take us to the airport after the tour (with additional cost of course), but had made our last day in Jakarta extra convenient.

From the beginning, Aisya was exceptionally warm, attentive, and organized. She wasn't just guiding us from spot to spot; she genuinely cared about giving us the richest experience possible. Throughout the day, she shared fascinating, in-depth insights into Indonesia’s rich history, local culture, and unique geography that we never would have discovered on our own. Whenever we came across a scenic spot or a great photo zone, she always made sure to stop us and take beautiful pictures so that we wouldn’t miss capturing the moment.Traveling with an elderly parent can sometimes be tiring, but Aisya was constantly mindful of our pace, ensuring my father felt completely comfortable and relaxed every step of the way. What touched us most was her dedication even after theofficial tour wrapped up. She went outof her way to helpus coordinate and smooth out our personal schedule for the rest of the evening, making sure everything was seamlessly arranged.We couldn't have asked for a better guide!

This tour allows you to explore Jakarta's main attractions with a professional guide and private vehicle. Our guide, Gindo, was very professional. He explained Jakarta's history and Indonesia in general in an easy-to-understand manner. There was a lot to see, including Indonesia's independence history, beautiful mosques and cathedrals, and Dutch historical sites. It was great to comfortably visit all of Jakarta's major landmarks. Our driver, Mr. Red, also drove very safely. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to travel briefly in Jakarta or efficiently explore its main attractions in a single day.

The island itself is beautiful and offers plenty of activities. Since it was a weekday, there weren't many people, and it was peaceful. The guide was incredibly kind and took beautiful photos for us. During the activities, they even took pictures with their own phone and sent them to us later. We booked jet skiing and snorkeling. I felt a bit rushed because I explored the island first before going for the activities. It might have been better to do the activities right away to avoid any dull moments. If you don't have cash, you can exchange money with a card at the activity counter. There was also a shark feeding experience inside the island, but I didn't get to try it. The only downside was the meal; the seafood restaurant on the beach had many sold-out items and took a very long time to serve (but the food was delicious). I enjoyed jet skiing, but my friend found it very scary. For someone like me who enjoys driving and going fast, it's a lot of fun, but for others, it might be a bit challenging.

My guide Leoni and the driver Mbak Leni, were wonderful and accommodating throughout the trip. i am quite introverted but they filled the car ride with endless chatter, making it a comfortable one. The car ride was long, almost four hours to and fro. Mbak Leni was very skillful at driving and navigating the roads. We stopped at rest stops for toilet breaks - I would suggest going to the petrol station toilet as the rest area one is not the best. Other than that, my experience at Situ Gunung was wonderful. Leoni accompanied and helped me take photos throughout the entire experience, and everything was as described - the experiences, the good etc.

For my first trip to an unfamiliar place, joining a Klook tour allowed me to visit more distant locations like Bogor, which is quite a distance from downtown Jakarta, including the Bogor Botanical Gardens and waterfalls. Our guide, Selviana, and driver took us to explore the area around the Bogor Botanical Gardens and the old town, as well as a waterfall in the mountains near Bogor: Curug Luhur. The Bogor Botanical Gardens are truly vast! They are one of Southeast Asia's oldest and largest tropical botanical gardens. The most famous historical building within and adjacent to the Bogor Botanical Gardens is the Bogor Presidential Palace (Istana Bogor). We had lunch at a restaurant in Bogor's old town that partners with Klook, serving traditional Indonesian dishes. It was also nice to see the scenery on the way up the mountain!

To Sheria: Thank you for being so welcoming. Accommodating to my last minute changes. Teaching us so much about the history of Jakarta and making it soooo fun! Thank you for being thoughtful, providing us water, watching out for us when it's raining. We really enjoyed our time out today. To Uncle Su (Driver): He is very shy and quiet but he will make the effort to open the car door even in the rain. Providing us umbrella and driving to a spot with shelter so that we won't get wet. Even thinking ahead for our plan throughout the day. Highly highly recommended this very cute duo! They will definitely make your day and you'll definitely learn a thing or two from them.
