Things to do in Gotemba

Our Mt. Fuji experience was absolutely amazing! The weather was perfect — nakisama talaga ang panahon! We were lucky to see Mt. Fuji clearly, its peak beautifully covered with snow. The scenery was breathtaking, with trees in stunning autumn colors of red, orange, yellow, and green. Our tour guide Leo was exceptional — very organized, informative, and accommodating. He guided us to the best photo spots at the 5th Station, arranged our lunch in advance, and even helped those who wanted to try the onsen near Gotemba while others enjoyed shopping in the outlets. We also loved visiting Oshino Village, where we saw the UNESCO World Heritage ponds, traditional houses. We also tasted delicious local treats like mochi, ice cream, and Japanese wagyu. Overall, it was a superb and unforgettable Mt. Fuji experience. Highly recommended! Gogoday Tours and Leo made our trip truly special. 🌸🏔️

It was an amazing experience to join this one day tour with Leonard as the tour guide. He was such a funny & patient tour guide that leave such a memorable experience. I will always recommend this tour because it was more comfortable than we go by our own. The Unagi Set was really tasteful, you should try it.

We had an amazing experience on our Hakone trip! The entire day was well-planned and covered some of the most beautiful spots — Hakone Shrine, Lake Ashi Pirate Boat Ride, Owakudani Ropeway, Yamanakako Lake, and Oshino Hakkai. Each place offered stunning views and unique experiences. Our guide, Will YU, was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. He shared interesting facts throughout the journey and made sure everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of. We really appreciated his warm gesture of giving us a parting gift at the end of the trip. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable day. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Japan!

This was my first trip to Japan, so like many others I was nervous about going on these tours, but the wasn’t the case. My group host Li Qinghai, went above and beyond to ensure my time and experience was comfortable and fun. I had a big group with me also.(there were 7 in my group). We were super lucky to be able to see Mt. Fuji! Li Qinghai was very knowledgeable in the history and took us to many different spots that we got to see and try different foods! time is very important on this type of tour so keeping up in pace and setting a plan is important to maximize your experience. overall experience 5/5. worth your money! would recommend to anyone that wants a good experience and time.

Had an awesome time on the Mt. Fuji tour! It was our first time seeing it, and the view was absolutely amazing. The tour was super flexible and easy to customize, which made the whole experience stress-free. Big thanks to our driver, Sam — he was really considerate and reliable, and took us to the best spots to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of Mt. Fuji. Totally recommend this tour!

Foggy day.. No mount fuji insight. But we had a great time. For us, taking pictures it's just need a little time.after that it's shopping time.. This itinerary was great. All the places had shops and the lunch was very good (kobe beef shabu-shabu). So even though we don't see any Mt. Fuji, every other place we go was great. I went Mt. Fuji before with diffrent itinerary that led you all the best photo stop. But it's too crowded and the queue was insane. So better take this one if you need more experience with Mt. Fuji and took more souvenirs instead a Pic that everyone has.

Our Mount Fuji trip was such an experience! The route took us through the old village, then to the lake area, and finally to Gotemba Outlets — the perfect mix of culture, nature, and shopping. Our driver, Siddique, was good— patient, considerate, and very professional.

I had a great day at Mt. Fuji. The scenery and weather were beautiful. The 5th station is a great place to visit for the views around the mountain. The tour destinations were beautiful, although there were quite a few tourists, I was still very satisfied. Our tour guide Evita spoke English and was helpful. She recommended us a traditional restaurant at Oshino Hakkai for lunch, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great.

My boyfriend and I booked this tour and it didn’t disappoint! Our tour guide, Seiko, and driver, Emiko, were amazing! Seiko was very friendly, caring for our comfort, and informative of where we were going, estimated time of arrivals, and made sure we knew where and when to meet at all meeting points. As for the tour stops, they were all so beautiful!!! We got lucky with amazing weather and were able to see Mount Fuji! i highly recommend this tour!! And if you can, recommend to be paired up with Seiko!
