Great 4.0
the price is so cheap compare to other hotels in the same area. parking at the oposite of hotel enter 19.00-10.00 and pay at hotel cost only 500 yen. after check in can enjoy free drink but so sad there is no pantry to enjoy dinner even the hotel is next to Lawson so have to eat in hotel room. The size of room is ok not big but have enough space to walk around. ice machine available on 10th floor

Fantastic 5.0
Sansuiso was a great place to stay in. It’s not as modern and may feel dated (i.e., uses actual keys instead of key cards) but it’s the traditional feel and atmosphere that added to the unique charm of the hotel. We also appreciated that there are various places to meditate and just feel calm. Great that there are private onsen that can be booked too. The rooms are well-maintained, the tatami was comfortable, the staff was very attentive and accommodating - overall a great place to experience an onsen town.

Fantastic 5.0
It truly lives up to its reputation as a century-old, top-100 hot spring hotel. Although the location is a bit remote, it didn't affect me much since I was driving. As soon as I arrived, someone guided me to parking and helped load my luggage onto a cart. In traditional Japanese hot spring hotels, communication often involves a mix of English and gestures, but the front desk staff here speak fluent English. There was also a friendly gentleman from Sri Lanka who helped introduce us to the hotel's facilities, accompanied us to our room, and explained the Kaiseki dinner. He even joked that it's not easy to describe traditional Kaiseki in English. The outdoor hot spring baths face the stream, and soaking in the hot springs while listening to the stream is incredibly relaxing. The hotel also provides drinks, small cookies, and popsicles, and it was quite enjoyable to sit in the lounge area watching sumo wrestling. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves traditional hot spring hotels!
