you get to spend ~5 hrs on Maria Island, recommend joining the tour as the guide knows where the wild animals are and you can easily get lost on the island. it was 17000+ steps for the day, so I would suggest doing this if you’re physically fit. if you are, this is highly recommended. this is the exact Tasmania you want to see!

I had a great experience on the Mt Wellington / kunanyi 2.5-hour hop-on hop-off explorer bus tour. It actually started off a bit rainy and foggy, and I thought we wouldn’t see anything — but around ten minutes later the sky suddenly cleared. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. We ended up enjoying the most incredible, clear views of Hobart from the top of the mountain. The bus was comfortable, the ride was smooth, and the flexibility to hop off made the whole experience easy and relaxed. It was definitely a memorable and worthwhile tour.

My family had a great time with Tasman Island Cruise. Saw so much wildlife (whale, dolphins, seals) and the rock cliffs along the coastlines were so awesome. They provide huge red raincoats, but please do layer up! We went on 2 Dec but was still so cold despite wearing 3 layers. Do also wear beanies and gloves as it does get quite cold halfway into the tour while you are out at sea. The 2 lady guides were great and created a fun atmosphere! Purchased 2 activity tour for puffing billy train, heasville and Yarra choloaterie as well as Phillip island, moonlit sanctuary, nobbies and Brighton beach boxes day tours. The tours were guided by 2 different company. Both guides were knowledgeable and multi tasked as a driver and photographer too. Redemption was fuss free. Sufficient time was provided at each stop to allow us to take photos or have meals. There were some cost savings compared to booking them individually. Recommend to purchase the pass depending whether the activities listed are places you planned to go.

This was an amazing experience! It was a lovely day on the boat trip, with ate the freshest seafood plucked straight from the sea. Our guides were so informative and friendly. The views of the Tasmanian coastline were incredible. This trip was everything as described and all that we ate and drank was of exceptional quality and was delicious.
