Reviews summaryThis Blue Mountains, Leura, and Sydney Zoo day tour was absolutely amazing! The itinerary was well-organized and allowed us to experience so much within a short time. Our guide, Alfie, spoke beautiful British English and fluent Mandarin. His bilingual commentary was fun and engaging throughout the trip. He also helped everyone take great photos — truly excellent service! Each guest received a bottle of water and a pack of snacks, which was a thoughtful touch. The Blue Mountains cableway ticket included all three lines, making it a great value. For lunch in Leura, I highly recommend planning ahead which restaurant to go to before dining, so you can save time and explore the town within the one-hour lunch break.
Tour guide was friendly. Itinerary was OK. The funicular tram ride was exhilarating for my 2 kids. Blue mountains were breathtaking. The inclusive Sydney Zoo Koala digital phototaking was cool too. Just that we didnt get to spend longer time visiting it as our Itinerary was packed full. Leura Village was okay, nothing much to do there except to shop.
Klook's tour organization is quite thoughtful and reliable. They send a confirmation email in advance with the meeting time and location, including pictures, as well as the tour guide's name, contact number, and license plate number. I signed up for the Mandarin tour, and in the morning, a tall, blonde guy got off the bus to be our guide. I was a bit confused until he shouted "Hello, everyone~" which made me laugh out loud. Our tour guide, Alfie, speaks very authentic Mandarin and has a lot of funny jokes. The itinerary was smooth, and his explanations of the local customs and culture were rich and interesting, especially his vivid and engaging history lessons. Our driver, Edward, drove very safely and was always on time for pick-ups and drop-offs. It was a very pleasant and fulfilling day.
Simon was an outstanding tour guide and driver. Today was an extremely rare 40-degree day in Sydney, yet he took great care of us throughout the whole journey, always making sure we were comfortable and safe. With his decades of guiding experience, Simon led us to a truly in-depth and memorable experience, sharing rich knowledge and insights along the way. We are deeply grateful for his professionalism, kindness, and wonderful companionship. Highly recommended!
An absolutely fantastic trip! Our guide, Lydia, is fluent in 3 written and 2 spoken languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Bringing my parents along wasn't a problem as they understood everything perfectly. The itinerary was ideal, the only slight issue was that lunchtime was a bit rushed, not allowing enough time to eat in the restaurant.
I recently participated in the Sydney Zoo/Blue Mountains day tour. The tour guide, Allie, was welcoming, enthusiastic, and humorous, providing detailed information and excellent service. The driver, Mike, was also courteous and provided great service. This was a worthwhile activity.
Enjoyed the trip! The tour guide was attentive and provided detailed explanations, allowing me to learn about the culture and customs of Australia. The mountain scenery was beautiful and worth visiting! However, the free time and meal time in Leura Village were a bit short.
My trip to Sydney Zoo was fantastic! The park is spacious and modern, with a clear layout and clean environment, so it never felt crowded or confusing. I especially liked their animal exhibits, which mostly use glass enclosures or open designs instead of old-fashioned cages. This feels more natural and brings you closer to the animals. I saw kangaroos, koalas, lions, elephants, and some Australian animals I'd never seen before, like Tasmanian devils – so cool! Plus, there are many interactive facilities and educational tidbits throughout the park, which are appealing to both adults and children. I also took a ride on their cable car, which offered an amazing view of the entire zoo from above. Overall, Sydney Zoo is a great place to relax and get close to nature. Whether you love animals or just want a relaxing half-day trip, it's definitely worth a visit!
The itinerary is rich, and it's fun to feed kangaroos at the zoo. The koalas are so cute! The Blue Mountains scenery is beautiful and well worth a visit!
Alfie the guide is so funny and with a sense of humour. Everything was gorgeous, but just a little drawback that the stay for everything checkpoint was a bit too short. Only 25 mins in Echo Point was not too sufficient. Other than that, it was a great experience.
