The first time I visited the Picasso Museum in Paris was in 1998, when Paris was hosting the World Cup and was filled with enthusiastic fans and tourists from all over the world. After 27 years, it is now 2025. I came to Paris for a trip with my beloved wife and visited the Picasso Museum again. Picasso is widely loved and recognized by the world for his unique painting style. Picasso was born in Spain and moved to France. He made great achievements in painting and sculpture, leaving behind precious art treasures for the world. We had wonderful memories of revisiting the Picasso Museum with my wife and wandering around admiring the unique works of art.
as a fan of Picasso I was impressed with the array of works of the Master as he had so many media he used - from oil to water color to writing literary pieces - as he transitioned thru his life - simply amazing
It is very convenient to buy online. You can get the electronic ticket immediately after purchase. Children under 26 years old can make reservations on the official website. You can also show your phone to scan the barcode on site. It is really convenient.
I visited Barcelona, Spain a few years ago, and this time, the Picasso Museum in Paris has an even more complete collection, even though I don't really understand much of it. 😂
The exhibition isn't large, so you can take your time and enjoy it; half a day is more than enough. Although it's not big, it's divided into different periods, and both the audio guide and the explanations on the walls in each hall are very clear, allowing you to easily grasp the evolution of Picasso's various periods. I think it's very well-arranged and thoughtfully put together; I really love it!
It's truly legendary. I was so happy while watching it that I almost cried. It wasn't too crowded, and it was quiet. Most importantly, being able to see such a diverse collection of Picasso's works was incredibly moving. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find that voucher when you buy tickets on a foreign website. The clock is smart; it clearly says "voucher," so you just need to click. Definitely use it! ^^
The exhibition hall is comfortable with a clear flow, featuring important works by Picasso from his youth to old age. Sometimes, with the help of GPT explanations, you don't need a tour guide at all and can comfortably enjoy the exhibition.
The overall experience was quite good, from payment to receiving the tickets, everything was smooth. However, I was a bit disappointed by the limited number of exhibits in the museum. Still, it's worth five stars.
