Reviews
2 day 1 night tour package is value for money. Hakodate is the nice place to get around for sightseeing with natural sceneries view
The tour guide was professional and very considerate. Goryokaku Tower was not included in the itinerary. Since half of our group members wanted to go up to the top of the tower to take pictures, the tour guide specially arranged for us to go up so that we had no regrets. Although it rained on both days of the trip, we were very satisfied with every attraction. There are a total of 12 group members. There are advantages to small groups, and the tour guide can spend more time communicating with everyone.
the driver also the guide speaks very little. it is more to a self guided tour. time given to each place is sufficient. lunch provided is a littlr disappointed as other tour are having grilled seafood. we only had a pot of salmon with cabbage for lunch. we were given refund for not able to visit Mt Hakodate to see night view as the ropeway is under maintenance. overall, it is still a self fun trip.
The tour guide is very professional and introduces the history and customs of Hokkaido from time to time during the journey. We are a family of 3 (3 adults). It would be better if the hotel has a 3-person room for easier care. Overall, we liked every attraction, but the weather was not good, but we still recommend this two-day and one-night tour.
The itinerary for the 2-day trip to Hakodate was good, but it was a pity that it rained on the 2nd, which was a fly in the ointment. Kaito Village in Hokkaido is very large and can be used for whole milk. No sea urchins in the seafood market? Good sights should be visible in the fog on Cape Earth. The red warehouse is featured. Mount Hakodate is too foggy, and there is no night view to watch. The hotel is good, there are restaurants in the nearby streets, and I found one to eat fresh squid bones in Hakodate 👍🏻 The next day it rained. The Hakodate Tower rests, so you can't see the whole picture of Wulingjiao Park. The monastery should be big and beautiful. It was raining heavily in Onuma Quasi-National Park, so I rarely got on the bus to rest. After arriving at Noboribetsu Jigokudani, the rain has stopped, and we will return to Sapporo after walking around.
Although the cost of participating in the two-day trip is slightly higher at $10,323/single room, it is still worth it to save a lot of trouble. The driver and tour guide for this service, Mr. Fan, is very professional and considerate. The drive is very smooth and disciplined, and he also introduces the scenic spots in detail , the hotel is clean and tidy, and the breakfast dishes are rich. Overall, it is a perfect little trip.
Definitely a value for money tour, got enough time to visit all spots as mentioned. Unfortunately was raining whole day in Hakodate next day, but still fun afterall.
The guide functioned more like a driver with short introductions. He drove really smoothly. The time allocated for some places are really short, for example, only 1 hours to shop and have lunch at Hakodate morning market. The view at Mount Hakodate was amazing and the guide allowed more shopping time for us to catch the sunset. Personally, I felt some of the attractions were not worthy of stopping for eg the monastery but it might be up to personal interests. The hotel was quite good with a public hot spring bath which you can try and decent breakfast. Can try this tour as it is one of the few that goes to Hakodate.
Our driver, Mr. Chen, took us to all the designated places according to the tour's itinerary and was always standby on time. He was very reliable and responsible throughout the 2 days tour, we had a good time overall.
We set out to see the night view of Hakodate, but unfortunately it was raining and we were unable to climb Mount Hakodate to see the night view. This was mainly because we were not able to see the night view, which was disappointing. The tour guide and driver, because he had to concentrate on driving, did not introduce much information about Hokkaido. Although he said that he could ask questions, he did not want to disturb him, so the 2 days and 1 night trip was mainly spent in a quiet car, but thank you for everything Safe transfer by tour guide.
