- ART TAICHUNG has been held for 13 years until 2025, and has become the most well known art fair in Taichung every year. The event is from July 4th to July 6th at Millennium Hotel Taichung.
- Galleries from both Taiwan and abroad are joining hands to present nearly 70 booths, featuring over 50 Taiwanese galleries, 11 international galleries, and 2 themed special exhibitions. Together, they showcase more than 3,000 outstanding artworks by over 500 artists from around the world.
- The hotel's 8th to 11th floors (with the 5th floor serving as the ticket counter and conference service desk)

Event Introduction
With elegant and soothing unique urban style of Taichung, Taiwan Art Gallery Association, with its rich experience in operating art exhibitions for 31 years, has been organizing the "ART TAICHUNG" since 2013. It has become the largest art event in Taichung each year.
The 13th edition of "ART TAICHUNG 2025" will be held at the Taichung Millennium Hotel from July 4th to 6th.
GALLERIES
In 2025, nearly 70 selected galleries from Taiwan and abroad will participate in ART TAICHUNG, presenting a diverse range of works—including paintings, sculptures, installations, video art, and photography—within the unique setting of hotel suites. This setting enhances the distinct character and emotional impact of each artwork, inviting viewers to step gracefully into spaces filled with artistic expression.

Exploring Taiwan’s Emerging Art Forces and Envisioning Future Creative Landscapes
This year’s Art Taichung shines a spotlight on the power of young creators, featuring three specially curated exhibitions dedicated to emerging artists:
- Young Voices organized : Organized by Taichung City Government Cultural Affairs Bureau, this exhibition presents 13 distinctive and promising young artists, showcasing a wide range of contemporary expressions.
- Luminous Art Marketing : Featuring works by 7 awardees from the National Hsinchu Living Arts Center’s grant program, this exhibition highlights originality and strong personal perspectives.
- NTUA Young Talents Awards : In collaboration with National Taiwan University of Arts, this exhibition selects 3 award-winning emerging artists and presents their works in exclusive gallery spaces, establishing a platform that bridges academia and the art market.
Additionally, the fair will host a special weekend art talk featuring LAI Yi-Hsin, the inaugural director of the soon-to-open Taichung Museum of Arts. She will share insights into the museum’s founding journey, spatial design, and curatorial vision—offering a first look into this upcoming cultural landmark in Taichung. With both exhibitions and lectures, the fair captures the pulse of Taiwan’s evolving art scene—from the creative energy of the next generation to the city’s visionary plans for a public art institution. Good to know
- The parking lot at Millennium Hotel Taichung is only available for hotel guests. If you plan to drive to ART TAICHUNG, we recommend using nearby parking lots
- Please visit the ART TAICHUNG venue by the elevators located at the far right side on the 1st floor lobby of the hotel to the 5th floor and transfer to the exclusive elevators to the exhibition hall on 8th to11th floors. Same way to exit the fair
- This ticket is for one-time use only
- This ticket can be used during the exhibition period
- Smoking is completely prohibited in the exhibition hall, and it is strictly forbidden to bring pets and touch any exhibits
- Children under the age of 6 can enter for free during the public exhibition period (7/4-7/6)
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- The use of flashlights and infrared rays is completely prohibited in the on-site photography
- There are media and staff in the exhibition hall who will take pictures, and those who attend the exhibition express their willingness to authorize this unit to use your portrait for non-commercial purposes
- In order to avoid affecting other visitors, please do not take group photos in the exhibition hall
- The use of tickets is deemed to agree to and abide by the relevant safety regulations of this exhibition

First of all, you have to line up on the first floor to go upstairs. The speed of queuing for the elevator is fast. This time, there is a special place for queuing. Unlike last time, you were stuck at the entrance of the hotel. The electronic ticket inspection is very fast when you go upstairs, but the electronic ticket inspection cover The badge can be better, because when I go to other floors, I will check the stamp on my hand, and I couldn’t find my hand stamp for a while. I was a little nervous. The paintings in each gallery are very rich and professional. It will be on a special floor, so you can go there before seeing the exhibition~
There's so many types of artist that showcase there different arts to sharing their interests and boldly introduce to the art.
I came here from Taipei to attend an art fair with a Japanese friend. It was my first time to attend an art fair in a luxury hotel, but the hotel rooms were used to display a variety of artworks, making it a very enjoyable experience.
The early bird ticket is 100 yuan cheaper than the original price, and you can go directly to the visiting floor on the day of admission. It is very convenient to enter the venue with the voucher (save the time of queuing up to buy tickets) The art fair is very good every time! It takes more than 3.4 hours to go shopping casually, I like it very much! Will continue to support!
There are three floors of art exhibits, each with its own characteristics. It’s fun to see them. The exhibits are placed on the bed and bathroom in the room. It’s a very interesting and novel viewing experience.
The event is great, the ticket purchase method is simple, and it is great to use electronic tickets to enter the venue without wasting paper resources. Every work is great, and you can see the hard work and intention of the creator. It is an amazing activity to improve your artistic ability.
An exhibition well worth seeing! The latest creations of many artists are exhibited in many art galleries, including from as far away as South Korea. It is really worth the price of admission!

Every year when I have free time, I come to visit and appreciate the various charms of the creators. Although I am not a collector, I always enjoy the thrill that touches my heart.
