It’s really a cheap and convenient means of transportation. It would be better if the bus schedules were more flexible!

It is really convenient to book in advance and the fares are very favorable and cost-effective. After exchanging the ticket locally in Hualien, go to the station next to the visitor center to catch a bus. Jiuqu Cave is such a breathtaking place! The one-day pass is super easy to use and the shuttle bus is very convenient.

The 310 station is always full, even though we spent 250 yuan to buy a one-day pass. We waited for half an hour at Shadoudang. The first bus didn't stop, because we couldn't be sure whether the next bus would stop. We spent extra money to take other transportation, and we didn't know whether the 310 bus would stop next time.

Not enough buses it feels like. It's worth the price if you really want to take buses to get to taroko, but then you'd better optimize your visits to different locations to minimise wait time for buses. Otherwise I really recommend rental cars/scooters over taking buses for the flexibility and efficiency.

DO NOT BOOK busses are never on time, they drop you off at non existing bus stops and then they proceed to not allow you to board the bus forcing you to walk 3km through a tunnel to the previous stop. You can only take bus 310 not 302

Obtaining e-tickets is quick. It is also very convenient and fast to redeem at the counter. The bus schedule is fixed and seats are limited, so you need to queue up as early as possible. The seats in the car are very comfortable.
