Activation procedure
- The SIM card is valid for your selected duration on a daily basis. If you activate your SIM at 23:59, it will count as one day
- The SIM card is valid for your selected duration after activation on a 24 hour basis. If you activate your SIM on 1 Oct at 21:00, it will be valid until 9 Oct 21:00
- Please follow the below instructions and photo guides referring to your specific phone device:
- Settings - Cellular - Cellular Plan (choose the plan you want to remove) - Remove Cellular Plan
- To Add eSIM: 1. Go to Settings > Cellular, then tap Add Cellular Plan 2. Enter the Activation Code received from the confirmation sent by eSIM provider 3. Start traveling with your eSIM plan
- To Erase eSIM: Settings - Cellular - Cellular Plan (choose the plan you want to remove) - Remove Cellular Plan

- The speed of your connection is dependent on your reception
- This is a Data-only SIM card. Calls, texts, or topping up additional credits will not be possible
- The phone mentioned as the following could not be used in our eSIM plan, SIM-locked phone, telecom self-branded phone, 3G phone, modification phone, and phone manufactured in China, Hong Kong and Macau
- Please store the QR Code securely. Once the code is scanned, it cannot be re-issued.
- Please do not jump out the screen during eSIM activation process in order to avoid that system misjudges eSIM deleted.
- Please make sure the Internet is stable during adding eSIM, preventing the eSIM plan from being deleted in case of failure of adding.
- If eSIM plan hasn't been used up, users who delete the plan cannot be re-issued a new code or refund. Also, if eSIM plan hasn't been confirmed with KarDear customer service the validity, users who delete the plan cannot be re-issued a new code or refund.
- If the plan you added displays "Activating" continuously, please turn off the old plan. You can turn on all the plan after the new plan is activated.

This was my first time trying out an eSim. Until now, my husband and I had rented one Wifi device, but since it was difficult for us to go out separately, this time we each set up an eSim. Very easy to activate. Instructions are clear. Just remember to purchase one day before activation. Data is expensive in Japan. Remember to turn off your Facebook app from accessing mobile data. It sucked my entire plan I had to purchase a 2nd e-sim.

Purchased this and had seen reviews to buy it early in case the QR code takes a little time to be received. Bought it about a week before I traveled and received the email with the code the next day. No problem installing and seems to be working fine. Hot I have enough data to last the whole trip. Haven’t figured out how to check the amount of data left
