The well-maintained trails made hiking comfortable. I was able to feel the mystery of nature. I highly recommend listening to the explanations on the app as you go, as it really helps with understanding.
This was the most impressive place on my Okinawa trip. When you think of the Okinawa sea, it's easy to only imagine emerald-colored waters, but the majestic mountains in the north and the deep blue sea are truly magnificent. Although it's a long journey, it's definitely worth visiting if you have the time. It was a shame I didn't get to see a Okinawa Rail.
It is a very interesting place. Because it is far away from Naha City, it is not a place that people who come to Okinawa for the first time will go. If you have been to Okinawa many times, you can come and take a walk. There are various different styles and scenery.
Very convenient ~ The weather in Nago Ogimi in winter is sometimes rainy or sunny, so if you want to go hiking, it is indeed difficult to control the weather. At this time, you need the convenient and quick ticket purchase experience of Klook. Go directly to the site to evaluate whether it is suitable. Go and buy it directly online, it’s cheap and fast, I recommend one~~
Pretty cool to see rocks! would totally recommend the red route over the rest but they are all cool and easy to walk
Although the distance is relatively far, it is rare to see hiking activities in the stone forest.
It is very worthwhile for us to learn to explore the ecological environment, the facilities are complete and clear, and there are rewards = free lunch🥣delicious
The natural natural scenery, although very north, is worth a visit.

Asumui Hikes Walking Through the Forest of Asumui, Where Ryukyuan Myths Breathe Located in the northernmost part of the Okinawa Main Island and embraced by the lush nature of Yanbaru, “Asumui” is a chain of four rocky peaks. According to legend, this is the very first sacred site created by Amamiku, the creator goddess of Ryukyu. “Asumui Hikes” is an experiential hiking tour that takes you through the forest sprawling across the mountainsides.

As you walk guided by an audio commentary, you will uncover the tales of Ryukyuan mythology and the history behind how this land has been carefully preserved through the ages. Designated as a Special Protection Zone within the National Park, the area boasts one of the largest communities of cycad trees in Okinawa Prefecture, majestic giant Banyan trees, and fantastic rock formations sculpted by nature over countless years.

The moment you step into the forest, you will be enveloped in a profound serenity and mystical atmosphere that gently puts your mind at ease. Where nature and myth tenderly intertwine, the forest of Asumui promises to bestow a truly memorable and special moment upon your journey.
