Gabrielle, our tourguide, is very fun to be with. He has given us a lot information that is helpful, enjoyable and relevant to the tour. He also showed us gems that you would not know if you did not avail of the tour. We enjoyed it.
At first, I went to the meeting place early, but I was worried that it might be uncertain. In the end, I met the guide and tour team well and moved comfortably by high-speed train. Upon arrival in Florence, I handed over to the local guide. All the guides were English and they were excellent. The explanations about the artworks at the Uffizi Gallery were very professional. The schedule was enough for free time for eating, individual sightseeing, and shopping until the return train at 5:30 after lunch. I recommend it, but if you don't have a problem with English^^
On time train to fienze...... Time in Florence sufficient to see the center.... Mikaela our coordinator mentioned must see places
The tour was as described. The guide was friendly and accommodating. The tour was well-organized, we were allowed to explore on our own for a bit and we enjoyed it.
My husband and I really enjoyed this tour! It is very organised and well planned out. The guide who accompanied us to Florence (Livia) was very friendly and took the time to explain all the activities for the day and checked in with us on our dietary needs on our train journey to Florence. Once there, a local guide joined us to take us on a walking tour of this beautiful city. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He also brought us to picturesque spots and gave us time to take pictures as well. On the walking tour, we visited some popular places including the Uffizi Gallery which houses a number of famous paintings. Normally my husband and I are quite clueless when it comes to art but the guide was really good and explained all the different paintings and their significance in the Renaissance era. Lunch was a little disappointing; my husband and I opted for the chicken and it was overcooked and dry but overall a small glitch in an otherwise wonderful day. After lunch, we are all given about 3 hours to explore the city on our own which is very cool. The guide suggested we have a look at the popular David sculpture by Michaelangelo and wow! Definitely a must see, such a beautiful and life-like sculpture. After that, we took the train back home and reached on time as mentioned in the itinerary. Very enjoyable day! :)
Tour guide was helpful and friendly So much nice restaurants and cafes to visit as well!
Lovely tour! Although I wish it included visiting the Accademia Gallery to see David. The restaurant for lunch was great but we had to wait for some time to be seated. I hope they can also consider a 2-day itinerary because a day in Florence is definitely not enough to see this amazing city.
Friendly tour guide. Very informative and engaging
It’s not worth the money. This Experience is definitely overpriced. Had a wonderful Tour guide that assisted with the train but that’s it. She gave me a few fun facts about Florence that was it. $188. You could do this on your own with something to spare. I’m grateful, but Just have to be honest. Thank you so much and Good luck!
Hi, we thank you for raising your concerns and sharing feedback on your experience - it is regrettable that things weren't up to your expectations for your booking for the Rome to Florence Day Tour. This isn't what we'd hoped to hear and will be taking this as honest, constructive feedback to share within the team and merchant. What we'll do for you, is report this back to the merchant on your behalf. That said, we thank you once again for choosing to book with Klook and we hope to serve you again. Sincerely, Sya
This is a fabulous trip despite we need to get up super early. Florence is beautiful and the train is great. We started in rome station then travel fast train to florence. The ride was smooth and quick and when arrived florence, the guide is very good. He walked us around florence and explained the art work very well. I strongly suggest people to go this tour. Even the lunch offered is quite okay. Fully recommended
