Amazing tour and superb guide! We saw many unique rock formations, caves, seals, albatross, dolphins! The guide was funny and knowledgeable about the history and details on everything we saw, highly recommended!
It is a speedboat so the ride was fast and bumpy. The boat drivers are friendly humorously and knowledgeable of the sites. They stopped at a few important places to allow us to take pictures of the rocks and the sea animals. For a more relaxed ride, sit at the back. You can also try the restaurant food which I would also recommend. Ponchos are provided.
I highly recommend this trip for a spectacular view of the Tasman Sea. The crew were so friendly and informative. We received a raincoat to wear (yes, you’ll get sprayed by water - but it’s the taste of Tasmania as they say) and also travel calm ginger pills. We saw the seals and native wildlife. Before returning back, we also got reusable hand warmers to bring home. I did get seasick on the boat, but that’s on me because I chose the front row seats. Despite feeling sick, the crew were super nice and made sure I was OK. So if you get seasick easily, please choose the seats at the back of the boat. Highly recommended!
The meeting point for boarding the boat is at Bruny Island. There is no problem in traveling by car to the meeting point, but it will be more troublesome if you don't have a car. The day of participation was a public holiday in Australia, and you had to wait in a long queue to get on the boat by car, so you couldn't make it in time for the gathering time. So I immediately called the activity company and they immediately arranged a later meeting time for us. Thank you very much. The staff are so friendly. There is a restaurant at the boarding point and the food is good. It was a great experience. I also saw a lot of seals and dolphins when I went out to sea, and I was very happy.
The guides were very friendly and informative. They spotted wildlife right away and gave lots of information on the landscapes and wildlife. Motion sickness pills were provided, so we didn’t feel sick at all. We saw dolphins, three types of seals, an eagle, and many other birds. The relatively small size of the boat allowed us to observe wildlife from a close but safe distance. We enjoyed the tour a lot!
The 3-hour trip is rich and colorful. You can see strange rocks, caves, sea lions, dolphins, blow holes, and chase the waves. It is thrilling. This is a travel experience worth participating in!
Fun boat ride to the tip of Bruny - we got to see the beautiful cliffs, sea caves, blowholes and seals. Well organised overall and worth going at least once.
Ben the boat man, Liz and Isabelle are all amazing staffs that elevate the experience. The geological sights and sea mammals are amazing, the boat ride is hella exiting (props to Ben’s awesome technique). All in all, a great experience that is definitely worth the price and time, if you are traveling at Tasmania definitely don’t want to miss this.
Raincoat & Halo pills will be provided , Staff are nice , tour is very unforgettable. We saw some sea lions on the rocks, sea caves , etc. But the weather was rainy & windy that made us feel so cold.
This is an ecological tour that is worth taking, it takes about three hours, the staff are very friendly and will take you on a cruise on the sea, to see the unique landforms, to watch the sea water erupt as if the sea is breathing, and to look for seals and seabirds.
